The combination of the nature sounds, the fishing rod whir, and your commentary is such great ASMR. It adds a nice bit of nature to my studying.

Are you going to post from the day you started early in the Piankitank? Looking forward to it
@SouthernFishNForageАй бұрын
@MichaelJenkins-w2f yes! I'm currently a couple videos behind right now, but I'm gonna release that one next! Almost done editing it, it's currently over an hour long lol. Almost thought about doing it in 2 parts, but I'm just gonna release it as a really long video.

@@SouthernFishNForage awesome. Thanks for sharing. I am on Gwynn's Island and fish the tank more lately and am trying to learn the trout, redfish, and flounder. Great videos and keep up the great fishing!!

Nice video, need a bigger net, yes we call them PUPPY DRUM here in SE Va. Question how are you rigging up your leader and hook. Are you fishing the bottim or mid depths? If you are fishing the bottim,are you using any split shot on your leader to get to the bottom.
@SouthernFishNForageАй бұрын
@rickyavner thank you for watching! I'm SLOWLY accepting the term puppy drum lol. My set up is very basic in this video (and most of my live bait videos). It is a #4 circle hook attached straight to flourocarbon leader, attached directly to braided mainline, no weights, swivels, or anything. Just live menhaden freelined.

I live in VA and ive always called them redfish. Ive always though puppy drum sounds kinda dumb tbh😂
@SouthernFishNForageАй бұрын
Dude, people will get hostile if you call them reds or redfish lol. I think the same thing about puppy drum.

Looks like oyster farm.
@SouthernFishNForageАй бұрын
@stephenkohut384 yeah that's what I assume, I've never seen them look like this before though. There's a bunch in a couple other rivers that look a lot different

What is the name of and type of boat you have? Is it a skiff?
@SouthernFishNForage26 күн бұрын
It's a C-hawk 16' center console with a Honda 40. Fun little boat.

@@SouthernFishNForage I know it's a bit niche, but if you ever felt like doing a video of a boat tour id love it. I'm really curious how you clean the spot where the live bait is kept.

You in the Chick? Not sure what those clusters of bouy floats are.
@SouthernFishNForageАй бұрын
@JoeHasGotToGo No this is a bit further north. I think they're oysters. This is the only river I've seen with these massive clusters
