Thank you so much for making this video. I am still really new to Roll20 and the jukebox has been a source of confusion and frustration for me. This has given me more confidence in using the system and helps so much. I really appreciate the time you put into this.

Hey, sorry for a late response. Roll 20 has it's shortcomings but people claim doing TTRPGs online are inherently worse than in-person ones. I disagree, stick with it and be creative with your games!

Yeah my intro was definitely too long, was my first KZbin vid. I’ll fix that in the future. As for the rest of the content in there besides the one portion you’re implying, sorry it wasn’t for you. Hopefully it helps anyone unsure of how to find sounds and how they should be used to enhance gameplay.

Do you keep your sound library anywhere? Would be amazing to have a glimpse at your collection

I have them in a drive folder. I posted it once but Theres a couple issues. One, too many people accessing caused me to reach limits where I needed to pay for it. And two, it may or may not contain copyrighted material. Which isn’t an issue for me just playing a game with friends. But disseminating that material or using it for monetary gains could put me in hot water.

You mentioned that the play all at once options hasn't seemed useful. The simultaneous play option for a playlist could be used to create a soundscape. For example, create a playlist called "storm" and put a wind sound, a rain sound, and a thunder sound in it, then play them together to create a storm. In a scifi setting, you might put in a fire sound for a firestorm, or maybe a geiger counter sound for a radiation storm (like in fallout 4). This would allow you to customize the experience further.

Wow I love this idea. I knew someone had a use for it. Thanks man I did the Geiger counter idea a lot.

Hi, its a very good viedo, thy! BUT I got a problem with the jukebox. Maybe someone can help me? When I do as in the video shown - add music by clicking on manage audio - I can hear it from the adding-window. But once i click add to game and it showes up on the right list, where it automatically goes to, the sound isn`t there by clicking on the play button. This is not a single time thing as mentioned in the end of the video, it litterally never worked yet. I tried several browsers and several tracks. I don`t know why it isn`t giving me sound, all tutorials I watched dont mention that there could be such problems, everyone i watched had it working instantly in the videos. But it is not working for me. The sound settings don`t show me something that would give me a clue what`s wrong. As mentioned my headset is working and it gives sound by clicking on a track in the adding window. But there is no sound by acctually using any of the tracks. It doesn`t matter if I click onto the play button in the list on the right or if i started and paused it in the "now playing" field. It visually shows, that the track is played, and that beam runs over the track. But no sound. So by now I cannot use the jukebox at all. Any tipps woud be great!

Now it workes! I really tried everything for two days by now. Somehow the solution here was to click on that already added track at the right side on that cloud icon, opening a new webside. I didnt do anything there, just opened and closed it, reconneced to roll20 and that track workes now! Hope that it works will stay now. I won´t delete my first comment, maybe someone has got the same struggle and can hopefully fix it that way too. Good luck for everyone sturggeling with roll20!
