I will try this scheme as soon as possible. But I am interested (since I haven't tried it yet) in connecting a heart pulse sensor instead of the microphone to see how it behaves in OUT.

I'm sure most makers know to pop in a low value resistor (200 ohm) on the led circuit unless they bought the type that does not need them.
