Gotta say I love the Tormentors. Downright terrifying during my solo legend run; especially the actual boss ones. the Major ones weren't too bad since you could freeze them with a chill clip gun, but the big ones were just relentless.

Bro, strand hunter is ridiculously fun. I was so happy when I got access to it and whipped out my super, it feels so freaking smooth, so freaking good. Later on I got to experiment with the dive that suspends. My good god, strand feels freaking amazing. I think I might switch from void to strand.

Cool thing I realized while fighting the tormentor; Tractor cannon does a blinding effect as well as weakening the tormentor, so just pop it real quick and get to town and it'll be dead in no time

Bungie absolutely knocked the grapple hook out of the park, way surpassed my expectations! I low-key expected it to be a kinda fixed speed that just pulled you towards the point but i feel more like pathfinder from apex legends which is awesome!!

Strand aside, Void titan feels so much better now with those new fragments. A titan with devour is a force to be reckoned with, nades for days baby! Also the HoiL nerf seemed like a fat dump at first but it actually doesn't feel all that bad. I'm still able to spam abilities pretty often. I do already miss some of the mods that they removed though.

People will need some time to get used to the new mods, I'm sure some build crafters out there are already working on posting their broken builds lol. I'm not quite sure how it'll feel in higher power level gaps though because mods like well of tenacity aren't around anymore.

Had to play Lightfall a bit late cause of work but it's amazing so far! Also I was terrified of the Tormentors in the Solo Legend Campaign until I learned to break line of sight when they charge you and that you can interrupt Dark Harvest with stasis freeze because of my stasis turrets.

Does it really stop with breaking line of sight? When i tried it, they just chased me non-stop until i got a good amount of height difference.

@@voltus20 Yes, it does. Though it may take a second after they charge at you. For me, they would make the cue that they were about to charge at me and I would hide behind something and they would stop. This may be a thing of, they may continue to do it depending on their hp. I did notice that they did charge at me frequently and soon after I broke line of sight until I damaged them enough ti where they stopped charging me completely. Though if you're having issues with them, I recommend anything that will freeze them like stasis turrets, coldsnap nades, or even a chill clip gun to get them off your beck for a few seconds. Though you can Freeze Lock them with 2 stasis turrets and a Chill clip GL and they sort of become like giant damage sponges

The tormentors are fun to fight against but if you use a grenade launcher with blinding nades the tormentors become blinded and don’t do anything, making it more easier to fight them.

That only works for major tier Tormentors, the boss tier ones laugh at most effects you throw at them, some even heal them.

yo azz, for the tormentor when i ran hunter i used the arc throwing super, witherhoard and a rocket with cluster to help with the adds and just continuously ran around the room in a circle. witherhoards tick damage the supers tick damage and rockets burst was enough to melt him like hot butter. also the occasional storm grenade.

Lightfall's 'infiltration' cutscene was a massive lost opportunity. It should have gone like this: We land on top of the cabal ship, and start making our way to the door. We pull the lever, but the door gets stuck. Now the cutscene has 3 variations: - Titans should have arc punched their way through the hull, pulling it apart with their hands - Warlocks should have used void to detonate the door - Hunters should have set up a solar gunpowder gamble grenade on the door and shot at it.

Whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Neptune. So let’s get to taking out their command one by one. Calus Ta’aurc, from what I can gather he commands the Shadow Legion from an Imperial land tank outside of Rubicon. He’s well protected, but with the right team we can punch through those defences, take this beast out and break their grip on Neomuna.

After an 11 hour stream, and suffering through strand. It's good,( I just didn't have a build for it so some legendary missions were difficult solo). After some finessing that final boss (no spoilers) I finally freaking won. I was so CLOSE to quitting. Destiny really upped their game and I love it!

You don't toss out the light when you use Stasis lmao. You still have it even if you're not actively using it. In lore, a guardian could literally solar grenade, arc melee, and void super back to back with no problems.

The only reason cross didn't die is because you can interrupt the attack if your teammates damage it enough. Getting grabbed solo is a death sentence though.

I know people are skeptical of strand on Titan, I did the legendary campaign with my friends and I struggled to be at all effective with strand. However, there is a certain play style with strand and once I figured it out, I was just demolishing everything. My friends didn’t like strand on warlock because they’re Starfire mains, but I always was at the top of the leaderboard with strand, by literally 70-80 kills. On the final mission I was 1 v 1’ing tormentors and wrecking them. I genuinely mean it when I say it, I have never felt more godlike in Destiny than I have when I have strand. Post campaign it’s weak and slightly grindy to unlock. I just got the 5th fragment and I’m dying to get those locked ones. Sucks we have to wait. Titans, stick it out and learn the play style, it’s well worth it.
