love your videos, Adrian, very unique content! I wonder about the final result, it feels like substance isn't giving all the maps/data needed to recreate the look we see in SD. My guess it's IOR and thickness in this example, have you played with them, and did it change anything to look more similar to the original? PS this dubious process is why I avoid SD and even SP as much as possible and try to do everything native

TBH I have no clue how SP renders, I can only guess, so it's either a thin or a thick solid mesh, the default 1.51 is glass but the tail lights manufacturers might use a different glass with a different IOR. This video is not so much about making it real but about how to guess and interpret SP data when you're in the dark
