By dry tack I mean a second track with no fx. You can still use the other track recorded at the time with your sound. Hope that makes sense 👍👍👍

Thx, after the analysis of the wav file, you would open the genre tab on the bottom left and try different drum parts. Is it possible to add different genres into one drum part or would you have to split a wav file and run them through BM seperately ? Just curious about h versatile this is working with its drum files styles .

You could record a ‘dry’ track of guitar (I.e. no fx) and use that to create the .wav file for band mate to use. That would ensure the cleanest track that you could get. Or, of course, I could be talking complete b.s. 😂😂😂

hi, do you know how to include third party midi libraries to the search?

Hi Diego. I just checked my search parameters to see if my 3rd party midi comes up in a search and it does. When I upgraded from V2 to V3 it asked me if I wanted to include my 3rd party midi in my search. I said yes and it immediately updated those midi files to be included in the search. Took less than a minute. I've included a link that Groove Monkey (3rd party) made that takes people through the steps of getting their midi into and working with EZD3. Should work the same for all 3rd party midi providers I would assume. Take special note at about halfway down the page they speak about the "user midi files" folder. That may have to be your workaround location for you to place your files in case you cannot find any other way to involve them in the search. All of the files in your "user midi" should be included in your searches. I hope this helps. Let me know how everything goes. ezdrummer-3-midi-installation

@@asoundmindchannel I mean in bandmate searches, I don't get any monkey or other folders results, though I see all the folders and they are included in tap 2 find

@@diegoalejo15 Gotcha. I'll have to confirm that when I explore this a bit more. In this particular video, if I recall correctly, I did see my 3rd party midi within the search results, just as you would in the grooves search tab, but I'll have to check to confirm that. I'll touch base with you on what I find.

@@diegoalejo15 Diego, I've been playing around more with the groove selection in the Bandmate tab and from what I can see it does include the 3rd party midi in the search results. You can see that when a groove is auditioning, under your track (in the Bandmate tab) that you imported, it says what the groove is labeled as. If you right click on that groove and it gives you the option to see the 'additional grooves in a folder', then you know it's the Toontrack midi. If the file name is let's say one word like "funk", and when you right click the that auditioning groove, the options to "select folder containing grooves" is greyed out.........then that would mean that its a 3rd party midi. Other than having a separate folder property in the search results, this seems to be the only way to verify that your 3rd party midi is included in the Bandmate search results from what I have found. Hope that helps.

@@asoundmindchannel Interesting! In checking this I´ve found: all matching grooves have the "show similar grooves" option enabled but some of them have "select containing folder in grooves" option disabled. I deleted all 3rd party folders inside Midi folder, loaded EZD3 again, now I see less folders in Grooves list but when sending the same wav to bandmate I get exactly the same results than previously. So, my guess is that 3rd party folders where not taken into account. Also the matching grooves with "select containing folder in grooves" option greyed out still appear so they don´t belong to 3rd party grooves. And now I have another question: why do some grooves have this option greyed out?
