It’s far easier to turn the wheel with a wheel brace. I’ve seen it done out bush, but no camera phones back then. It was a Toyota 4.2 litre diesel Landcruiser with a warm motor, so a single compression is all you need, but the compression is somewhat higher.

My petrol 40 had a crank handle I only used it once it gave me a huge slap 👋 if you took the plugs out you could wind it out of bogs very gently

Plus I notice almost 2k subs. Keep going mate. Maybe add a narration over your photos at the start to give them more context.

@@andrewbraithwaite1365 I am pleased how well the channel has done hopefully it’s the content I have created and showing a balance of skills and stuff so people can get outdoors safely and affordably. Some channels have hidden agendas and are paid to sell gear and gloss over short falls and over sell how good a product is I call it as I find it regards mike

As a young mechanic I was always changing piston rings and timing chains on them, they were good cars for their time when everyone said alloy engines wouldn't last. Some people thought engine coolant was just a rip off and paid dearly for just using water regards Mike
