swapping weapons only gives you one extra mag slightly faster. if you're in cover in a situation where you don't need constant pressure, you should reload instead of swapping. for a practical example, see 4:44. he empties a mag and then reloads safely behind the rampart shield. moments later he leaves cover to apply pressure and swaps to his secondary instead of reloading. had he swapped earlier, his secondary would have an empty mag and he would have either had to back out, potentially letting the other team retreat and heal, or he would just straight up lose the gunfight and go down.

like i know this is bit. but it would be an interesting gamemode if everyone started with white weapons and only way to upgrade was to kill people and level your gun up. like get kill, use their white weapons to upgrade to blue, need two blue weapons to upgrade to purple. so 4 kills on people with white or two on people with blue, 3 kills on people with purple to get gold. so 6 kills minimum to get gold weapons
