This talk is like getting an instant 10,000% boost in identifying what I need to highlight about my business. A true marketing hack. It is unbelievable how blind we are to what makes us unique.

Anyone else clap at the end of Mark's talk (while by yourself in your home office?). Mark is the REAL DEAL. Truly a gem in our industry and world that helps you "find your lean". Loved this talk.

Mark shines a spotlight on why we can't see our own greatness -- and therefore why we don't value it. But it's there right in front of us... if you want to see yours, stop staring at it! Great TEDx talk!

"What may be ordinary to you may be extraordinary to the world." Mark Levy never disappoints with great story telling and insights into what differentiates us. This talk is so relatable and today especially, I needed the reminder, "Don't aim to be impressive- aim to be real."

Mark, your talk was a masterclass in uncovering and embracing what makes us unique! Your opening challenge about how to stand out resonated deeply, especially in today’s crowded world. It’s so true that we often overlook our own greatness because we’re too close to it. Your Leaning Tower of Pisa metaphor was a brilliant way to illustrate how a flaw or quirk can define a brand and draw people in. The Schlitz Brewery story was equally powerful, showing how what seems ordinary to us can be extraordinary to others when communicated effectively. Your practical framework, especially the four questions you posed, is a game-changer for helping people identify their 'lean'-those surprising, memorable, and authentic elements that set them apart. Super well done. I am sharing this video with my 35k email subscribers. YOU rock!!!

Masterly, insightful, quotable. This is how you do a TED talk. So much insight compressed into 17 minutes. One of the many cool things about this talk is that Mark is demonstrating what he's teaching while he's teaching you!

The Leaning Tower Of Pisa encapsulates his point perfectly. It's so embedded into our minds that even if we hadn't thought of the tower in years, one can say little more than the country it belongs to and we remember it instantly.

Mark, your genius never disappoints. This is the perfect platform for you because your stories are always so engaging. Just more proof as to why you need to align what you do with who you are. Imagine trying to embrace and implement something that makes you stand out in an industry where you just shouldn't be working. Like a vegan trying to be a leather artisan. Just doesn't work.
