Can you activate the take up reel after its already printing and youve initially picked dont use the take up reel?

I'd like to know this as well. The older model would take up the slack whenever the dancer bar came forward, printing or not.

Yes I believe so, you can select no take-up then just engage the dancer bar during printing as previous models could. Although it has been hit and miss for myself when trying this.
