Using the Trim Function in Excel

I was working on a CSV file in excel and I'm having problems with leading and trailing spaces. I don't want these spaces to be included in my Database. Luckily I found this tutorial; it saved me a ton of time 💙

You can also just select the whole range of cells you want to affect in the formula and it will spill the results in the other cells automatically.

U have to apply formula somewhere. But that's not an issue u can either hide the original column or copy paste special (only value) on the same old data.

Just for info, there is a limitation. For example, if the original word is 'tri m', the changed word treats them as 2 words 'tri m' and do not change them to 'trim'.

U can do that also as per ur requirement actually. Press control H to get to find and replace. And there find "space" and replace that with nothing.

But first you have to make sure that the whole sheet is on General format coz if not. The formula won't read.
