You know, Brian always mentions how OHLC4 is more accurate than HLC3 for VWAP calculations. However, I think this doesn’t make as much sense for crypto trading (which is what I do) because it’s a 24-hour trading session. Basically the OHLC4 includes the open, which is just the previous day's close, so each close is essentially double-counted. but with traditional securities/commodities trading, the open is not necessarily the same as yesterday's open, since the lack of 24-hour trading breaks the continuity between sessions. so the open is actually important to factor into the calculation.

Good morning Anthony and thank you for this great video. May I ask if VWAP or AVWAP works on the Forex Market as well ??? NYSE, Nasdaq are "centralized" markets that have a real read on Volume, while Forex is a"descentrilized" market and each broker has a "different way" to show and count Volume ... love to hear your thoughts !!! thank you !!!
