They are the same number, velocity just includes direction. For example the speed of a car could be 60 mph while the velocity of that same car is 60 mph South

meep beep really? Well I doubt that anyone can solve 1/540 hz without a calculator. I’m pretty sure if an equation like that was on the non calculator portion of the exam, then it’d be fine to just put 1/540 hz. Although, if there was clearly a way to simplify it without a calculator, you may lose a point because it wasn’t simplified
