My question is-How in the hell do you "hear" your changes after? What do I have to do to hear the changes on my PC-right now, I can make changes, unplug from the PC and then back into the PA-thru the headphone?

I use this pedal through the effects loop for Delay, Chorus and reverb. It sounds great live. As good as anything I have used without the expense. Not masses of functionality but if you set it up before hand it works well. I also add cab SIM to every patch I make and turn it off. If my amp packs up I can throw a lead into pa and use without and amp 🙂

Firstly, excellent, informative reviews, no long, stupid "hey man what's happenin' intro's"!! I have subscribed and have just bought the G1 four partially based your reviews, although I am already Zoom biased (I already have a G3 & MS-100BT). This model surpasses both, particularly when used in conjunction with the G Lab software. My ONE and ONLY issue are the plastic 1/4 inch jack sockets and how they'll hold up to gigging. Metal jack sockets would complete this fantastic unit! Could this observation be passed on to Zoom?

Thanks for the reviews of this pedal. I have pedals & was considering replacing them with a multi fx. However, you’ve got me thinking of using the Zoom as part of my rig, maybe for modulation for example. Whereabouts would you put this in the chain & will my present volume/wah pedal work with it? Thanks
@yaguitar5 жыл бұрын
Where it goes depends on how you like to use effects. "Normally" modulation and time-based effects would go after you gain and distortions. That said, I tend to put chorus before gain. Wah and volume pedals will work just fine as well. All down to personal taste, but it would certainly provide tho with great flexibility used as a modulation unit!

how to delete patches?
@stephenhookings19854 жыл бұрын
I found this out by accident - made a YT video. But simply you cannot delete a patch BUT you can empty it. Either go to a patch, click on the name, change it to empty then click in area where the effects are, move the to trash can and you can delete all the effects ... Or choose an empty patch and save it over the top of the original. I have the G1x and B1x - the G1 has no space out of the box. Most of the patches are not too useful. Acoustic SIM.and pad are useful to me. Clean them out and look to make your own.
