I think George Peppard was having a good time with this series. His resume of work is impressive. Not only did he play Banacek on TV, but he was in some pretty notable movies. How The West Was Won, Breakfast At Tiffany's, Operation Crossbow, The Blue Max, Pork Chop Hill and many more. I loved his character in the A-Team.

They did, sadly I believe it was the last season or season and a half George and Mr T were basically feuding with each other. If I remember correctly it started because George found out Mr T was making a substantially more amount than he was. They argued about who was the bigger star, he was stealing my scene blah blah blah from all accounts it made the work environment kind of awkward.
