Yes I am inspired with your masterboard system and, I am also thrilled to see how a more casual approach to putting together so many wonderful creations is so appealing to me. I have had so many moments of realising I am going to stop trying so hard, to be more relaxed and to see if I can flow more. Thank you so much!

Hi Michele, I'm newish to your channel and just loved this video. In quiltmaking, we call this style of sewing chain piecing, meaning piecing one thing after another without breaking the thread. Here is a tip that will help with sewing issues (thread nesting under the pieces you are trying to sew together) and it saves thread as well. Cut two pieces of fabric (not paper for this) around 3 inches by 4 inches. Fold them in half to make a long skinny rectangle that is 1 1/2" by 4". Before starting to sew on your project, feed one of the fabric pieces fold side first through your machine. Continue on to sew the pieces of your project. When you come to the end of what you are wanting to sew, take the 2nd piece and feed it through as before, stopping with the needle down before you reach the end of the piece of fabric. Leave it in place for the next time you sew. Cut off the first piece of fabric and use it at the end of the next round of sewing. That way, you always have a piece of fabric in your machine. Sorry this is so long. It would have taken me under a minute to demonstrate this to you, but so many words to describe!

You can use a pointy tool to push those ruffles up toward needle while sewing fabrics and laces. It might work with the paper to just hold down the accordion fold in correct direction if you are careful about not poking holes in the paper.
@thecreativecove68982 ай бұрын
Thanks for the tip! That's a great idea for sewing, I will definitely try it with paper too!
