Using Velib in Paris - cheap bicycle rental to tour the city

I went to paris , and considered trying those green bikse, but gave up instantly, -watching your video about it, makes me glad I did not waste anymore time, trying to make it work😊

Yes definitely not worth trying to book through those terminal screens but booking online they work pretty well especially for only 5 euro a day

Thank you for the info. When you sign up for one of the Velib temporary pass, let's say the 24hr pass Classic 5€, do you have 30 minutes included and get charged beyond that time? Or do you need to return you bike within the 30 minutes to avoid charges? I am not clear how the timing works. Please let me know if possible. Happy riding!

You’ve 30 minutes from when you unlock it to get it to another station and lock it otherwise your charged a euro extra per 30 minutes. But you can drop off one bike and take another straight away

Another question If I pay 5€ beforehand in my home country and not using a bicycle is it still expire after 24h?

I think the 24 hour period starts from the moment the payment is made - it would be better if it started when the first bike is unlocked but pretty sure it’s the payment
