Using Visual Studio Code With Crestron Extension To Compile Crestron SIMPL+ Code

If you are sick of working with the Crestron SIMPL+ editor, you can use Visual Studio Code and a third party extension to edit and compile .usp files. Note that you still need Crestron SIMPL+ installed on your system.

Unfortunately you need an account with an authorized dealer or partner to get access to the development tools.

Hey Dustin, we are all in debt to Eric Walters for saving us from having to use the default S+ Editor. Did you know that the module you used for your video has a compile error in it?
