Using VWAP With Supply & Demand Imbalances 📈

This video goes over how to properly use VWAP , how I use it with my trading strategy and I show some recent examples tying it in with supply/demand zones and market context.
I also give insight on what VWAP is and how big money/institutional traders use it.
Its very important to gauge VWAP not only in support/resistance but also in context when it represents a piece of the market story.
You can take some really good trades when you add VWAP to your trading arsenal.
I also go over some trades on /ES SPY, /NQ QQQ, TSLA, ROKU, FB, etc all which used VWAP in some purpose.

I find that VWAP has more significance as the day progresses. If I enter a trade far from VWAP, I will target VWAP exit (assuming there are no other levels in between) but only after the first 2 hours of trading or so. First hour price will just chop through VWAP like it’s not there, which is how it sets the average for the rest of the day

If volume increases during the day with price discovering new areas, VWAP will have a higher significance

VWAP still tricky. I've seen it work better some days than others. Although based on price and volume it works BECAUSE so many people/ algos USE VWAP. VWAP also winds up in a different place on my charts at the SAME time in DIFFERENT time frames ( lower on 5 min chart than on 30min chart). I stick with default settings and eliminate upper and lower band display too. Best I can come up with is to use VWAP on the time frame I am trading off of (usually 2 min or 5 min chart) and ignore it when it comes to charting S&D zones at end of day or over weekend. Also put 21 EMA or other MA on chart as well which "sometimes* is helpful and acts as support and resistance often, but can create info overload. Any suggestions on this? Also am seeing more and more charters using volume horizontally displayed on right side of chart. Might be helpful in finding high volume areas (where price often moves quickly too) in charting S&D zones.

Hello. I have been loving your videos. Supply and demand is mentioned a lot, however, I have noticed that in this bear market, its hard to pin down either. Price tends to move and not re visit an area any time soon. For day traders s&d almost seems like its irrelevant. Volume only shows the amount of shares comin in and out during that candle for that time frame right? Bc the bar only moves when somebody has (filled order) paid more or less for the share right? And then you have ppl romping in or out with market orders helping push the market one way or the other ?

Been trying to work with vwap. I got NAILED today. Twice I thought it would act as resistance and after going below a bit, it continued to drop through. I held and got nailed. This was in the early afternoon. The market just changed course. It was so strong but then just changed. I held for too long after the "resistance point" which never happened. I know there are no hard set rules but it did that twice today so I got nailed twice.....bad account loss. I'm trying but seems I can never catch a break.

Take profits my friend and sell as you approach your target. Bulls and bears eat but pigs get slaughtered, never allow a winning trade to become a loser. I think its more of a psychological adjustment

@@randycasey7936 Thanks Randy. I know many feel this way but literally when I enter a trade, it goes the other way. I'm only playing with $500 at a time for the micro emini. I win small, like $10, but I lose big....it never goes my way and I watch the charts, candles, vwap, all the time. I never buy when above vwap, but I get nailed there too. I don't know....stick to $5 wins? That will eat up the account with fees. Thanks for replying!
