Great video Terry. I know that there are instructions on the tins but a demo is a lot better👍

Hi Terry Your video is just like your products EXCELLENT! One question, what speed were you buffing at? Cheers Roger
@ChestnutProducts
@ChestnutProducts 7 жыл бұрын
Hi Roger Thank you for that kind comment! I usually buff at around 1100rpm. That's a good starting point, see what you feel comfortable with. Terry

@@ChestnutProducts How hard do you press when buffing?
@ChestnutProducts
@ChestnutProducts 5 жыл бұрын
@@avecforte8851 A firm, constant contact is required, the large does the work. You shouldn't press hard as this can cause too much heat.

Hi Terry, do you have to store the wax sticks in any particular way? In a sealed container etc. Great instructional vid Cheers Steve
@ChestnutProducts
@ChestnutProducts 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Steve. No, the waxes are solid blocks, to there's no need for any special storage; just somewhere safe and where you'll be able to find them when you want them!

Do you have products that are food safe so if i was to use them on a drink wear it would be ok?
@ChestnutProducts
@ChestnutProducts 4 жыл бұрын
You could use Food Safe Finish but it will only hold liquid for a short period of time.

Very cold workshop, What effect will this have with your sealers and polishes?.
@ChestnutProducts
@ChestnutProducts 3 жыл бұрын
Slower drying, thicker and harder to use. Damp atmosphere can also cause blemishes in the surface.

Can you use the woodturners wax stick on the buffing wheel C? Thanks James
@ChestnutProducts
@ChestnutProducts 4 жыл бұрын
Hi. No, the Woodturner's Stick Wax has beeswax in it and this makes it too soft to use on the wheels. It's liable to smear rather than polish.
