I'm actually a big fan of negative space when it's used well. When I was active in photography, I would find ways to sneak it in from time to time. Ultimately, the creative choice resides with the artist and this piece is lovely no matter how you frame it.

i looooovee the use of white charcoal you are using in this video, its such a beautiful effectt! I was wondering what that white charcoal stick's brand is that you are using? Is it a pastel stick you have to buy in a pack? I really want to try and draw my cats using some white on charcoal but im not sure how to find a charcoal stick like this unless its a pastel pack of rainbow colors :P
