Great teaching skill.. Awesome lady.. excellent accent.. easy to understand
@no-uf6me3 жыл бұрын
You wouldn't hear natives saying "Awesome lady". maybe "Wonderful person". You wouldn't really use the word lady unless you were describing something or talking to somebody/trying to get their attention. "I want to go to the ladies' restroom." or "Listen here, young lady! You're in big trouble!" or "Excuse me, ladies, but could I take this chair from your table? Thank you."

Thanks a lot! In the sentence: "I would buy my parents a house" can we say: "I would buy a house to my parents"?
@joaopaulopereira35533 жыл бұрын
Hello, friend. How are you? 😊 It's the same thing. It's just like saying "I gave her the pen / I gave to her the pen". We must also consider using "for" in this sentence, because you would be presenting your parents with a house, or buying it for them. However, it depends on the context, having two options to say it in different senses: gift them (for) or simply give them (to) something you would buy. I hope I have helped you 😊

Hi Alisha, you mentioned that "Where would he have gone?" is it correct, can we use "he have gone" instead of "he has gone"?😊
@Brunosantos-hj3ee3 жыл бұрын
Hey dude, the use of "have" in this sentence is because there's the "would" as the auxiliary verb. You can better understand this idea if you say the sentence in the positive form: "He would have gone" Here, "would" is the actual modal verb and have is just a normal verb, and for this reason it keeps its base form.
@xavistar14 Жыл бұрын
There are some statives verbs such love, think or love that can't be used with Would. Would es un verbo auxiliar, de manera que siempre tendrás que utilizar con él un verbo principal en infinitivo, sin el to.

Couldn't be more agree with you is it correct grammatically?
@no-uf6me3 жыл бұрын
No. "I couldn't agree more with you" or "Couldn't agree more with you." are both correct. The first one is more grammatically correct but the second one is used more in the informal language. Informal = Slang or not posh.

In your statement: "What would you do if you lost your job", why don't you say "loose" ( present tense) instead of "lost" ( past tense). I would be pleased if you answered ( or answer?!!) me as quickly as you can. 🤣🤣 Thanks a lot from Morocco.
@no-uf6me3 жыл бұрын
It's English language. It's confusing. I would have to say "What are you going to do if you are going to loose your job" Which is way too long. You need the whole sentence to be in a certain tense, not just 1 word.
@isabelrobi1022 жыл бұрын
Because this is the way to say what would you do if you (past tense) that really means if something happens in the future.,I mean if something happened in the future., I hope to be explained with you

I have a question about would have done. For example: John left for the front, by the time he should return, the field would have been burnt to stubble; the the field was actually burnt. So is "would have done" always unreal situation.
