Using Your Wizard Controller With The Typhoon H

Thank you for providing yet another very informative video on the Typhoon H. Like others, I have been hesitant to use the wizard, but after watching this clip, I'm going to give it a try. Thank you.

Flew tonight with both the controller and the wizard. Very, very cool and it is going to do exactly what I want it to do. It will some time before I have much video with it.... I have to get used to flying with the wizard a little more! The only thing I still need o work on with the wizard it rotating the camera (the app works great for turning it on) and I could not get the landing gear to come up with the Wizard. I will try again tomorrow and I will keep you updated!!

Great vid Chris. Had my Ty-H about a month now and love it. Had a Phantom 2+ for a couple years, and after upgrading a firmware version, it was toast (fried the Wifi board apparently). I like this drone a lot.. Keep posting great vids like this. Quick question - you may already have done one, but i bought a 2nd ST16 for mine (from you guys !!) with the intent of letting someone else learn how to fly / shoot video, with the idea that if they got crossed-up, i could bail them out by switch the craft controls back to my ST16... Haven't been able to make that work yet dual binding issues with twin ST16's) - do you think that is possible ?? Thanks again - great stuff.. Kev

Got a curious question. Once the H is in flight what happens if the start/stop button or power button is accidentally depressed.

You can actually stop the motors in flight..but you would have to hold the start/stop button for a few seconds. Here is something interesting...if you press the button by accident, the H will lower itself by a few inches to tell you that you hit the button....but you'll have to hold it for a long time to kill the motors. Pretty difficult to kill it in the air by accident.

Does anyone here own a H, and has put a few flights on it? I am looking for some help in understanding some of the flight characteristics mine had. What I am trying to determine is if mine was defective or if it was something else. The H I had flew crooked and toilet bowled bad. No amount of compass or accelerometer calibrations would fix it either, even in different places. The crooked flight started became worst as the battery voltage decreased. Also my gimble would become uncalibrated every two or three flights and hold at a 45 degree angle. The gimbal would also become crooked any time I calibrated the accelerometer. Anyone else have this problem? Or not? any info helps.

don't know if you fixed your problem yet. but what i have found it the is caused buy not having your campus and accelerator calibrated. I do my calibration each time i fly and i no longer have drifting or toilet bowling.

My 2019 Typhoon H Plus is not binding to the wizard...it does not change light when I rock the back twice...any thoughts?

The Typhoon H Plus binding process is different. You have to flip the drone upside down.
