hello. thanks for this video. i have a problem with the moves of the cgo3+ on the h. when i want that the cam looks down or forward it doesnt react. or it reacts 1min later -.- the tilt mode ande the pan control dont work neither. i have telemetrie and the view of the cam. can you help me to solve this problem? greetings from tobi

Thanks for these thorough tips! You mentioned that the control of the H and CGO3+ are on the 2.4 GHz WiFi and the video was on the larger antennae for 5.8 GHz WiFi. I was under the impression. that the 5.8 GHz was a two way to control the camera settings. If this is not correct then why did Yuneec make the video signal WiFi? I get that WiFi is digital so they can have better quality but if it was regular RF then we could get lo get range.

how do we test the camera if it is working or not, after a crash the camera light don't blink, the drone works fine after replacing few parts. I can't tell if the camera or the connection on the mother board broke. thanks

Hey Wally. If you take a volt meter to the bottom of the gimbal connection board on the power and ground pins, you will be able to tell if the mainboard is giving your camera power or not. The only way to test the camera is by using the drone, unless you are good with electronics and can make an alternative way to power it on. Chances are the mainboard is bad, if your camera is not powering on.

Hi - After I put the drone into "bind mode", when I go to System Settings, I do not see any camera appear. I press reset and refresh but where is the camera? How to make it appear? (so that I can press "bind"?) Thanks to any who can help.

The camera should be blinking green. If it is not doing this, then it is not giving off a wi-fi signal.

Yes there is a way to do a factory reboot, I would contact Yuneec at 844-898-6332 for instructions on Restoring it to factory settings

You can leave it or delete it, doesn't matter. Just know which one you are using.

Terrestrial Imaging LLC O ok thank you for the response. I actually ended up being able to bind the original one after creating the copy of it. So I did everything you said and made a copy and was able to bind the copy without any problems. Then I got curious and tried to see if the original one was also bind like the copy, but when I switched from the copy to the original it lost the connection and everything was reset again. So I tried going back to the copy to see if that one was bind to drone and that one was not either. So then I tried to bind the original one instead of the copy I had made, since everything was reset again, and it worked. Now my question, do you know if this will be a problem? Is there any reason why I should not go back and bind the original and use that one instead of the copy I made?

If it is bound then it is okay to fly. Just make sure it's calibrated, and you are getting GPS signal.

Quick question and thank you for your tutorial. After we establish connection with the craft do we delete the copy and see if we can reconnect with the original or do we stay with the copy we created and delete the original to later edit the name it's name (copy)? Or leave both there? Thanks in advance. Chris

Do not delete the copy, i usually just stay bound to the copy, and you can rename it as you please. It wont allow you to delete the original, so just let it be.

Thanks for your reply. Initially I could not connect after the updates to the craft at all hence leading me to your video. I followed your instructions which were great and regained control of the craft again. I did end up deleting the copy and now somehow it connected with the original profile again which was odd. Alls well and everything works easy peasy. Thank you for your time.

Thanks for the feed back! Most SD cards come already formated, however should you need to format or reformat one, it is recommended that you do it on your computer.

keep in mind, smaller cards should be formated with either FAT or FAT32 partitions

I flew my H for the first time and did some aerial pics and videos and for some reason when I took out the SD card (that came with the H) and put in my ST16 to view the footage it said the it couldn't read it, that it needed to be formatted. So I placed the SD card in the adapter that it came with, inserted it into my PC and it was able to read it... Thanks for the response and help...

You can fly perfectly fine without the camera, i have done it often. Of course you will not have any video display on your controller, but there should be no reason why the camera being off would stop you from flying.
