When I worked as a laborer for a framing contractor decades ago. I was told don't be worried too much about making all corners perfect, drywallers and finish carpentry will make up for our near perfection. But in your case I see how the concrete itself is the guideline for the wall, so making the pour as square and smooth as possible is priority. House is looking great Geoff it will definately be one of a kind. Hopefully the storm ventures another direction.

Time for a little comic relief, from hurricanes Francine & Helene! #1 - I have figured out from what style of video/TV strategy you are following for today’s Bealy Good episode, and it works! Here it is: You have a short to moderate section of Timelapse footage, complete with the *great music selections,* that is halted in regular intervals by the short, instructive, & even humorous vocal/ narrative vignettes. So, what does this remind us of? Why this is similar to the stylistic meanderings of the old Hee Haw TV series!! Of course, they had the music section, halted by the joke, then back to music, halted by the next joke. Anyway, very enjoyable. Might I suggest you consider a joke moment(or 2) placed in the mix of your own version here. Bravo! #2 - While we are at it, we could throw in “ZUCKLES”. You know, ZUCKLES The Clown…. -- I know, too much time on my hands, we just miss the humorous side of Bealy Good.. It’s all so entertaining nonetheless.. Thank you! PS - We did spot The Executive Producer there in the Timelapse….

Great video Geoff. I always love the drone flights at the end to see how the progress is going. It sucks that the rain is adding time to the project. Is there any concern with the foam being exposed to the sun for extended periods of time? Also i think the bracing could be considered scaffolding as well since you do use it as a walk way. Thanks again for bringing us along on this journey.

It seems like there’s lots of comments from the KZbinr’s on the crazy weather, but never any comments on man-made climate change. Isn’t crazy going to be the new normal?

Why is the door not going to be on the concrete under the roof going to your office?
@BealyGood

It will be. The concrete you see is the roof of the underground hallway. It will be buried eventually.

Will you be using a osb material for decking look at tech shield it cuts out a lot of radiant heat it says buy 97% just a suggestion but it can only be used for decking because if you were to put it on the walls it would cause the board to sweat so it has to have cleat opening but I had it on my last house it sure did cut a lot off the heat out of the attic.
@BealyGood

I haven’t looked at that. I’m going to try to do a double exterior layer of foam on the roof.
