Hi Raga, I have watched this video of your's at least twice before now but it made a hole lot more sense this time I watched as I am about to take my CS on march 5th of 2018, I really liked what you said about not feeling ashamed of not knowing. I am really struggling with that very thing right now. I haven't taken any of my steps till now not even my step 1 and I am feeling as if I am really unprepared . I had an elective in Miami and will be staying in Chicago for the next month i.e February and then I have to fly to LA for my exam as i did not get any other place on that date. You talked about this place in Chicago where you found a group of IMGs who prepare together for the CS , would you like to share where this group is I mean location as i would also like to find a study partner for myself. Well I do have move than a month to study but I still am pretty shaky about it. Any ways the way you talk about your exam in this video it seems as it was tackled in a smooth way by you . Any ways good luck for all your endeavors !

Hi Dr.Raga. Is there a particular dress code esp. for females who are taking the step2 cs exam? I know that on the ecfmg website it says that you have to be dressed in a formal manner but there are some who insist that long sleeved lab coats n blouses are a must. Is it ok to be wearing short sleeved tops? Probably a stupid questiom but I am just so worried about every single detail. Also I read in a forum that some SPs tend to try make things diff n fail u. Is that true??

Thank you for making this video!! :) I have a question - how important is typing speed for patient note? Do you think not being a fast typer might be a problem? (I don't know touch typing, I have to look at the keyboard while typing)

how did you apply for that one month rotation in the US? Can you give a brief idea about applying for those. I am an Indian medical student in my second year of med school and would really like to know how to avail of these rotation opportunities in teaching hospitals in the US

Hi Dr Raga, first of all, thanks for all the effort you put in making these videos. They are really helping to get my mind prepared for this task. From your previous videos, you recommended writing step 1 before step 2ck. But how about writing step 2CS before any of the other steps. Do you think, in your own opinion, that not writing step 1 or 2CK before 2CS will be regrettable?
@DoctorRaga8 жыл бұрын
Hello! After doing the steps, i personally don't think it matters whether you take the CS before or after you do the step1 and CK as the CS has very different resources and studying techniques! But i do recommend that you take the CS after atleast 1 year of clinical rotations in medical school!

Hi Dr Raga, I failed my CS exam, didn't have much practice because I didn't know anyone to practice with. Would you please, tell me where in Chicago did you get the other students that you practiced with? Will be life saver for me, thank you so much and have good luck for your future.

Hi, I have a question about electives. I was wondering whether you know, are Canadian electives considered as valuable as US elective when applying for US residency? I'm a Canadian citizen and an IMG; I want to apply for 2018 Match.

Hello! To my knowledge, canadian electives are not considered equal to USCE.
