We’ll definitely be streaming a lot of games this summer, especially all of the USMNT ones besides the ones we’re going to but also other matches in Copa America, the Euros, and our Olympic games. Commentating it will take some adjusting to since we’ve only streamed 2 games in the past but we’ll definitely do our best!

You have a short memory if you think Horvath hasn’t made any mistakes for the US.,he gave up a near-post howler v. El Salvador or Honduras. It was against El Salvador, definitely a shaky moment but unfortunately Turner didn’t look good against Trinidad and Tobago on the away leg and shouldve done better on the goal vs Jamaica, perhaps it’s the consequence of his lack of playing time, but then again that’s also a direct result of his poor performances for forest early in the season, it is concerning but let’s hope he can find the form we know he can play at during this summer!

Great video! I guess Gregg does always give fans something to talk about. I personally also think Maloney was the biggest snub / oversight here in terms of form and tactics, and the Shaq Moore and Tim Tillman selections are head-scratchers. Do agree with Braden that this roster should be viewed in the context of who gets out in the Olympic squad… and I’m reserving judgment until we see exactly who we have for the Final Cut for Copa and who represents us 🇺🇸 at the Olympics

For me this summer's games are not about the rosters but all about how GGG set's up, manages, and reacts on defense. No more weak-ass CONCACAF home opponents. I'm expecting real pressure put on our GK and CB's for these friendlies and for Copa.

This is when we find out how bad our defense (including Turner) really is. Truthfully I’m not optimistic in that area of the pitch, but if Gregg can set up the team well (unlikely) and the midfield and attack step up I think we could still have a successful tournament in spite of the poor defense.

Agreed, Maloney snub is interesting. He either has wrong vibes or isn’t in the club. Malik isn’t good enough to make GGG take his brother in order for him to play for us. If Pulisic has a brother…. Maybe.

No surprises in this roster. GGG picking 3 MLS guys to appease his brother. I would not be surprised to see Shaq Moore ger minutes in Copa. The only clear oversight is "Lenny." He is the kind of player we used to have back in the day. Someone who will gladly do the dirty work.

That’s what I’m afraid of, Shaq got minutes at the World Cup when we had 4 RBs so now that we only have 2 he’s sure to get on the pitch at some point. Really hoping Gregg wakes up and decides to experiment with Weah or even one of the midfielders there instead.

It’s tough to say, mainly because of all the options to solve the RB problem. If I said to say right now I think it would be Turner; Jedi, Ream, Richards, Scally; Adams, McKennie, Reyna; Pulisic, Balogun, Weah for a big game, but we’ll do an official lineup prediction game by game in our preview videos when they get closer!

What do you guys think about a theory that Timmy Tillman was picked to show dual nats that they have a real chance of playing with the USMNT. Lots of countries frown on inviting foreign born players - for instance Bosnian federation rejected Zlatan Ibrahimovic back in 1999.

I think that theory can be easily disproven by the omission of Maloney, who’s also a dual national and playing at a much higher level. It’s been clear over the past few years that we welcome anyone with an American connection for better (most of them) or worse (Gressel), so I think our dual nats know that they have a real pathway here. It’s just a case by case situation of where they want to play, as we know many of them use the USMNT as a fallback option.

Who would you guys start? I think it’s a case of who fits the system better vs who is the best player, in my opinion Sargent fits the system better but Balogun can be the best player IF he is on form. Perhaps Pepi should embrace his role as the game changer sub.

Spot on, Balogun is probably the best but fits the system the worst. Wouldn’t be opposed to Sargent starting, or giving all 3 60 minutes over the two friendlies and rewarding whoever plays the best.

I've calmed down some from yesterday. Here's my take: Goalkeepers: I would've called up Turner, Brady and Celentano. I don't understand Sean Johnson. Feels like a pick to troll the fans. 1.5/3 Defenders: I absolutely HATE calling up Shaq Moore. I don't understand for the life of me why he doesn't like Auston Trusty over Miles Robinson either. I'd replace Moore with Fossey and Robinson with Trusty for a FB/CB option if Lund can't go. I think that makes sense. So CCV, McKenzie, Ream, Richards, Trusty, Jedi, Lund, Scally and Fossey is my group. 7/9 Midfielders: This group would be fine IFF he didn't call up Timothy Tillman... WHY??? Just cut him and I'd call up the same 7 midfielders. Adams, Cardoso, McKennie, Musah, de la Torre, Reyna and Tillman. Maybe Maloney would be someone I call up now that I hear Yuri's take on that. 6.5/8 Forwards: Did Luca Koleosho really say no? I can't quite tell. If no, do everything you can to get him. If yes, this group is fine. I'm not a big Aaronson fan, but I guess it's a benign issue. Pulisic, Weah, Koleosho/Aaronson, Wright, Pepi, Sargent and Balogun. 6.5/7 Grade: 21.5/28 (C). Hey, at least it's better than that D-/F roster we brought to the World Cup I guess.

Interesting to see that you wouldn’t take Horvath, that’s really the only complaint I’d have with your squad. Definitely an improvement over the World Cup, but we also have a lot more players that pick themselves. As for Koleosho, I know he’s still injured and I’m not sure when he’ll be back, maybe won’t even be healthy for the tournament (I don’t think he’d accept the call up regardless).

Shaq Moore also plays left back, guys. DeJuan Jones is better at RB & LB though. Anyone who thinks Mark McKenzie is good and Miles Robinson isn't is an idiot. McKenzie can't even kick the ball. Miles Robinson is much faster and better defensively than Chris Richards, who's been making tons of mistakes, even in the last few US games. I can post the highlights if you want.

The problem with your outlook is that you think anyone who wants to play in Europe can just go over there and play. It's a stupid thing to believe. It's crazy. European clubs have a limit on non-European Union players that can play on a team, which is why Christian Pulisic got his Croatian passport or why Kaká got his Italian or Portuguese passport. The Premier League used to have a national team caps requirement to get the visa. My point is that people in MLS aren't bad players by default. It talks knowledge to be able to spot which MLS players have a higher ceiling. You also forget to factor in that good MLS players will be even better when playing with other better national team players. You guys mock Miles Robinson, but he's quicker and faster than our other center backs, plus he defends better than Chris Richards. His passing and technical ability are good, even though he doesn't play passes like Leonardo Bonucci. You guys don't know what you're talking about. You just parrot bandwagon talking points. It's annoying because all of your anonymous cowards are all over Twitter harassing anyone who doesn't parrot bandwagon talking points. Again, you don't seem to know that Shaq Moore was out, and now he's returning to top form.
