@@EtotheLtotheP Diego Kochen. Not really liking the hype around him though. He's still needs refinement, and I'm thinking he actually needs to be transferred to another la liga team where he gets minutes.
@EtotheLtothePАй бұрын
@ - I think I might rate Diego more than you do right now! At least he’s getting more minutes with Barça Atlétic this season. I felt like last season was almost a wasted season. Would love to see him develop into our #1 goalkeeper of the next generation 🙏🏽🤞🏽

Awesome video! If you’re worried about length, then a video for attack/midfield/defense+GK would be a good way to split it up.

Good feedback! We’re definitely planning to split it up a little in the future, probably by age group though.

Really curious about two things; how many European academy guys do we have now vs 10 years ago (if you can find out), and is that # a good barometer of our overall strength/growth at the youth level?
@davidmilko816Ай бұрын
10 years ago it was difficult to determine which players were potential duel nationals. Since the FIFA rule change allowing players to switch allegiance there has been more interest by players to advertise the fact that they are duel nationals. So yes the # has increased. Unfortunately the # of players in academies is not a great barometer for strength/growth of a nationals program, as so few players ever progress to their clubs 1st team and of the few who do the # capable of impacting a National Team is a very small %. Just look back at Julian Green and Tim Tillman (Bayern academy)...topped out at the B2 level.
@AMERICANULTRASTALKАй бұрын
That’s a really good question, honestly I have no idea how we would figure it out but at least we have this video as a way to make that comparison 10 years from now! I can confidently say that the number is higher and it is somewhat of a barometer for our overall strength, although it’s important to keep in mind that not all prospects pan out (a lot don’t). However, the more players we have in top European academies from a young age, the more likely it is that several will reach their potential.
