Not a Big 3 fan so I can say this as a neutral, Djokovic was there for the taking in this match, unfortunately Federer's break point conversion was 4/23. Federer won more points in this match than Djokovic which is astonishing in a 4 setter especially without winning a set via breadstick or bagel. The fact that he was able to overcome that against Nadal towards the end of his career winning 7 of their 8 final meetings (only loss a SF to Nadal at RG in ‘19 I believe). Out of those over ten points that went against Federer at the 3 USOs, ‘19 Wimbledon & really maybe even the’14 & ‘15 Wimbledons go Roger’s way I think there’s no doubt the grand slam race is in favor of the Swiss. His record was 10-21 against Djokovic since 2011. So when you say THIS MATCH you are assuming that he did so well the other 20 times he lost to Djokovic. I think there was a clear pattern to his play against Novak. Mainly, he lost most of the time. So don't make excuses for him.

What does that even mean? Federer was better but couldn’t get his chances? Fed just played sloppy with a ton of unforced errors. Got broken almost 10 times on his serve. The better player won
@tmst21994 ай бұрын
How can failing to return service be called "unforced"? You try it.
@pauljohnson6019Ай бұрын
Well it can, if you net the ball, or hit it long, Federer made many unforced errors, he's a professional, and had more slams than Novak, at this point, 17 slams, to 9- he should be the one, forcing errors from Novak!
@pauljohnson6019Ай бұрын
Federer s*** his pants- as usual. About 40 errors in this match, his backhand was way off, Novak just let him self destruct.

No he’s not, Federer is greater than Nadal. Nadal only has more masters than Federer because there isn’t a single masters 1000 on grass. Had Halle been a masters 1000 then Fed would have more masters than Nadal. Also, Nadal stat padded on clay and has relied heavily on clay since 2013. Nadal only won the US Open in 2019 outside of clay since 2013. Federer is the only one to have won 5 slams at 3/4 slams clearly showing how Federer is more complete and surface versatile than Nadal. Djokovic is the goat though you are correct, but Federer is definitely the second greatest, go watch Goatkovic’s video on it.
