Thank you for mentioning the brown to black connection! I swapped the pins in the plug and problem solved! The ballasts fit really nice on the flat spots in front of the horns and look great with the projector housings.

Just completed this install today on my 2012 cc. Must say it was a very easy one. The only issue was that there was no room to paste the ballast for the installation on the right fog. Too many components around there. Had to paste behind the window washer fluid container. Hopefully it stays there!

Any chance of doing a video for the headlight instillation? Can't seem to find a single video for a HID kit instillation for a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta Mk5. My headlight doesn't have the little plug in the back like that foglight does.

Would you not be worried/bothered by the fact that the electronics (other than the ballast) is just loose and bouncing around in there?

I'm having problems mounting the kit lights (6:05) because I don't have a power drill. Nor do I have a torx screw driver, I only have an allen key that somewhat fits. I am turning the black screw by hand and it's just about impossible... Help?

Did you need to use a CAPACITOR, RESISTOR or RELAY? I just tried installing HID fog light bulbs on my MK6 GTI and when I turn them on, they keep flickering. I tried 2 different HID kits.

I have a 2010 jetta highline without factory fogs and have ordered a Euro switch. I was thinking of doing the fog kit is there anything required like additional wiring or is there a factory harness already there?

Yes. Should be similar, however you should just be able to reach up below the bumper and remove the bulb that way

that is the bad way to install HID . They need projector or you gonna blink other drivers .
