A tip for selecting offices. Ask the regulars before you apply. I spoke with regulars in my home city and regulars in a smaller office 15min away. Needless to say I ended up picking the smaller office 15min away as the routes are smaller and easier to learn. I also tend to get 8 hour days as a CCA. Also, I have a supervisor who never touched mail and they expected you to get the route done the first time you do it.

I had a crappy day yesterday. My LLV wouldn't stay started, I had issues with several scanners not being charged or not being able to do load truck, and I was on a route I hadn't done yet. I got lost a couple of times and couldn't find the boxes for several addresses. I also unlocked an MBU and the entire door came right off when I swung it open. My station isn't letting the newer CCAs case the mail simply because they won't be that fast at it, so having an idea of the route is kind of non-existent. Gotta rely ultimately on staying in contact with other carriers though; that's a big key.

I accepted my CCA conditional offer last week, filled out the background check, emailed the person to schedule my fingerprinting, but they haven't gotten back to me and I followed up with another email. The form that was sent to me said I needed to get fingerprinted within 5 days of receiving the form, I am now on day 6. Any insight on what to do? I don't want my offer to get rescinded.
@CalUsviFl3 жыл бұрын
I would contact HR to see if they can direct you in any way. Also, if you can get any response from replying to any of your emails may help too.

The problem with driving in the real world versus on the course is that in the real world obstacles aren't painted bright orange like cones.

I disagree with the casing the Presorted stuff while its in order of your route most of the time not all of the time but most of the time it third class and can be held over till tomorrow if your running late so by casing it first your just making so you have to take everything I would say do your letters and flats in your bucket next to your case and then worry about the presorted stuff

Hello, can you request a transfer after your 90 days? or do you have to become regular first. I would like to transfer to another state.

You do not have to wait till you make regular. After your 90 days you can put in for a transfer.

@@ruthpaez5001 yes, you will lose your seniority as a CCA if you transfer. That's why it's best to do it sooner than later so it doesn't make a difference.
