Hi, I got a question.. do you mind to answer me? So.. I applied both positions as MHA and PSE clerk. I got both of the offers.. but the conditional offer as MHA came first before PSE clerk. So.. I did everything for the MHA including fingerprints. They havent called for 3 weeks since i did my fingerprints for MHA.. and then all of sudden i got the other conditional offer to work as PSE clerk, which I accepted it …and then turned down the MHA offer. Anyway, after I clicked that I accepted the pse clerk job, i didnt get the email from NACI. I did my background check questions from NACI when i did my MHA.. how come now they dont send me email from NACI? is it only once? other question is they schedule me for another fingerprints for PSE clerk position which i already did it last time when i did everything for MHA position. How many times do i have to do fingerprints? twice or once? what about the NACi? twice or once? and how long does the process take from the time you do the fingerprints until you got the email for orientation? thank you so much. 🙏🙏🙏

Hi, respond to the person who emailed you the fingerprint and tell them that you applied for both positions and you got and offer for PSE and you accepted it. That you already had your fingerprint and NACI done. BE POLITE when you email them. I got my orientation 1-2 months after the fingerprint. It varies on locations. Email them as soon as you can.

Pre-hire means you are considered to get hired depending on your score. There's a seniority, the highest score get called first.

They refuse to pay me for orientation I attended for 3 days. They said I needed an EIN number to get a check cut. However they had no.problem putting me to work without an EIN number. Didn't take the job because of excessive hours. Still think its pretty foul for them not to pay me for my time.

This is the answer I got from USPS on October 22, 2020 after waiting 3months(applied on July 13th, 2020 with passing score of 84 and the hope to get in). I'm really disappointed. They are getting all your personal information and making you wait for this long. So they're keeping vacancies to get people's info. This is so unprofessional.

I'm so sorry this happened to you, but you are not alone. They reached their quota, meaning the number of employees they offered the job prior to you accepted the offer. Now that you already took the VEA exam, you can apply for another position and try different location. Don't let this keep you away from applying to USPS. The long term benefit will set you for life. You will have pension, retirement, medical, vision, dental, and travel options.

Hello Suraya, I know people who work 2 jobs and go to school and can handle it well. The only predicament you will have is when USPS do enforce a mandatory 6 days a week, 12 hours a day. The you will need to adjust your study time. Ask yourself what is your priority? Make money now or finish your diploma?

I was on the pre hire list for a few weeks, then moved on to the offer phase. My process was filled out the app, completed simulation test online, completed background check, signed paper work and did fingerprinting, and now I am waiting for orientation to start next week. I did not have to complete a drug screening im assuming because of covid.

@@MarieAdventure Hi Marie, i went for fingerprints this morning and found out they only hired me for peak season 11/7 - 12/31 I applied and accepted the PSE mail processing clerk 360 days term. Turned out just seasonal hire. So disappointed. Luckily Im still keeping my day job.

@@joherulislam2882 If you like to lift heavy stuff, you can work at the plant. If you like to sit down at the counter and talk to people, you can take the PSE inside post office not the plant.

😔 since the the virus 🦠 is still high I was sitting home waiting form usps mail handler job here what they do I got 86 out of 100 which is like ok no to bad and I did all kind of background check paper work but u imagine 1 day before My fingerprints appointment I got email that they resent my application jus so disappointed ☹️

@@MarieAdventure thank you. I got the fingerprint appointment but they sent me 2 emails with 2 different times. The only thing different one says PSE fingerprint and the other says MHA fingerprint(that is the job I accepted) not sure which one to go to or if it’s all the same.

Hi did you do the fingerprinting before the background check clears? I'm worried because I reread my conditional job offer and it says do you finger printing within 5 days of the offer. I missed it. I contacted HR and they didn't address my question if I'm too late or do I wait for the background check first. The response was just come to the address between this time M-F to do your fingerprinting. I live kind of far from the address so I would be a little sad if I go do the finger printing then later find out I didn't pass the background check. So I kind of want to wait for the background check first. What was your experience?

So I did everything step i did my fingerprints last week so this Friday and sat they called me about the tiles what shift will I like they did say if I was still interested in the postal job and I said yes they asked me to choose between 3 shifts and that was it so my question is does that mean I have the job ?

What does EXT mean on the application. I applied for a job as a rural carrier. I accepted the spot but, when I went in the site it said I was in progress and there was the acronym EXT. Also is 71 score good and can we take the test over again?

This depends on your HR, I printed mine but they did not ask for it. They just ask for my ID and see if I am in the list.

Very detailed video as always also very relaxing cut when you went a made your coffee. I have a question (sorry for how long this is going to be). I did my fingertips at the end of October for MHA but I still haven't had a response back but when I go to my ecareer profile it says I'm still on the Offer Phase... I wanted to go where I did my fingerprintsand and ask about what is going on (like if I can keep my hopes up or not) but the appointment location was like almost 2 hours from where I live... what do you think about this Marie how else can I contact the HR or someone that will give me any updates? I tried for email as well but all the emails they have sent me are either automated or a non reply back without any contact information inside the documents. (I did received another offer for a Holiday position yesterday but since I'm right now in the MHA process and don't want to start a new one without knowing how this one is going I end up withdrawing from the Holiday position and just keep waiting for any news about the MHA position). Accept the position they are currently offering you if you want to get your foot in the door. Then if the first position you applied for responded, you can either resign from the current job and let them know that you want to take the other position or keep the ones you have. They don't really mind, they are respectful of your decision.

Ok so here’s my question. I received the job offer for MHA back in November 2020 then went and did fingerprinting a few days after. I was then told at the branch that I needed to wait to get an email about orientation (not even coming from USPS) from a different source. I haven’t completed a test at all yet though. Neither have I heard anything. Any tips as to what’s the next move?

It's case to case basis. The plant may have 3 shifts or two. To give you an example, 3 shifts are night shift, morning shift, and afternoon shift. They may let you choose if the positions in those shift isn't filled yet. But if there is just one shift that needs workers, they will assign you there.

Did you read the job description? Custodians keep the place clean and in order. They are an essential part of USPS, without them, the place will be in total chaos.
