@@RandallRavis I just signed on to be hired any tips?

@@jonathanlopez9401 not without being negative lol. I cringe watching these videos because my experience was 10x worse than anything I’ve seen or heard from anyone posting these types of videos. Everyone says “we all went through it”, but it’s not true. Not even remotely accurate. I got sent to over 10 different post offices inside my first year. I’ve been out until midnight twice and seen mail delivered on Sundays as a result of that. I’ve had shifts with crisis counselors present saying coworkers had died on the job. I have a different perspective than most because of my experiences. It really all hinges on where you end up and what their situation is. Be prepared to work a lot including almost every Sunday (and the format on Sundays changes constantly. Management tweaks the start times, number of employees scheduled, territories covered, etc.) Have a thick skin and stand up for yourself when you need to. Get phone numbers from everyone you meet regardless which office you’re at because you’ll probably see those people again at some point and the more people you can ask for help, the better. I’m assuming you applied to be a carrier, but this stuff should hold true for any craft. You’ll also be doing “other people’s jobs” constantly, so know that going in. Your reward for hard work is more work. It’s just the name of the game.
