Hello, I just have one question? Ive been hearing that they only guarantee 8 hours per week, did you only get only one day of work out of the week while you were PSE and even after the holidays?

It's not guarantee you get 8 hours a day, they might give you 4 to 6 hours a day and only give you 20 to 30 hours per week. It depends on the station or plant you work at. During the holidays they can make you work up to 12 hours a day and have only one day off.

Can I ask about your training? I was just basically thrown in told to work and my first day was so confusing.. I didn’t know where to go or what operation codes to write down or what. Unless another PSE tells me where to go I’m unsure.. not sure how to become self reliant with basically no training

Yes, it was pretty much like that to me, luckily my co workers were nice enough to teach me and show me what to do..

Hi Ateng , been watching your very interesting videos. I’ve been offered a PSE here in my area and still debating on whether to accept it because of the schedules. I have little boys 3 & 6. Now since it is a non career position , will there be a chance to move to a career one? And what are the Career Positions? At the moment I have 3 days on wether to lock or release my offer. Im afraid to release because I might get a far location in the future. Salamat

Hi kabayan, theres always a chance to move to a career position, the question is how long. That might take a year or less or few years. Hard to tell. Career position is that you get your days off and minimum 8 hours a day. No more split shifts and going to different locations everyday.
