I like the look of that ship. I also like how the shields, though not overly tough, regenerate fairly quickly, and those phasers actually doing what phasers are supposed to do is good to see for a change.

That is a canon ambassador in the saucer and neck, nacels are a hybrid of ambassador/galaxy/sovereign, pylons/impulse engines are sovereign, colors are sovereign. It is a gorgeous Ambassador refit, too bad they forgot the shield upgrades...

@@RetroBadgerGaming 😊Thank you buddy, gosh Yes the Kazon was the hardest one, but all 3 into one I have it in a box lol so embarrassed. lol still a unique style lol, and all the plastic that holds the parts, used that for the outside of the Borg Cube, like in TNG first time they encountered it.. lol I too love the mix of Galaxy, Ambassador and Sovereign looks amazing , yes, my ex, kept the PS3.. pff kept so much, since all was mine, he even wear my clothes , and ruined them with hair dye at salon where he faked owned.. so, PS2 yes good ol days, and have a swap cover thingy, so I can play PAL OR NTSC games on it.. lol 🖖*I just re read this and sorry for all the lol. !!! lol🤔😊

I loved the Dawnstar, I had her in both BC and Armada II as a mod back inthe day. A perfect sovereign era Ambassador successor.

This is the first I've heard of the Dawnstar being an alternate Ent-E. I've always seen it promoted as a modern replacement of the aging Ambassador class (modern being a relative term, in this case).

Considering how old this mod is, it did pretty danged well, all things considered. If it's ever updated, it might turn the Dawnstar Class into a serious contender. Which would be a good thing, because she has some good lines on her.

I like that ship. I hope someone refines it and makes a more polished version. The nacelles don't work for me though, they are a bit too flat. It also needs better phaser coverage if it's an Enterprise-E alternative. But overall it blends the old look with the "new" look very well. Like I said I hope someone comes out with a more polished version. Great battle!

I recognize the Dawnstar. I swore it was around years ago for an early alternate for the Sovereign which I thought at the time was an official design. I agree she resembles more of the Nerendra Class (Proto Ambassador) than an early Sovereign. Ya this is a tough call to the victor. It would be interesting to see what happens if you put the Dawnstar up against just a single Defiant.

Interesting design the Dawnstar and I agree with your analysis on it. It was refreshing to see phasers at a decent power. It is one thing I find in all these battles is why are phasers basically useless? I would like to see that return.

The Dawnstar looks more like an upgraded Ambassador. It's looking like a lite version of the Galaxy class. I could see Calhoun's Ambassador class USS Excalibur being upgraded to this if it didn't blow up in the New Frontier series.
