I feel like the defiant may have been a little tougher than it shoulda been, but that made the fight more exciting. I just kept on thinking of the nemesis movie where the dorsal shields were low and Picard rolled the enterprise to bring stronger shields to take the brunt of the scimitar’s attack, and screaming “roll! you’re letting torpedos hit you!”

Maybe you should go for defiant's impulse engines first and then for the pulse phasers. Set your sensors to max power for a proper aiming. And sweap through your phaser arms. Think, you need more rotation and more positive/negative acceleration to avoid getting hit.

Need to use tractor beam. W the sovereign if ypu play agains a shuttle, you dont even have to fire a shot, the tractor beam pulls them into the hull

Yeah, that Defiant mod still needs a minor tweak. It is too survivable. A Defiant Class should not be able to take that much punishment. The Sovereign outguns them 10-to-1. That isn't to say a Defiant Class could not win. As we saw against Regent Worf's Super Neghvar. If the Defiant can get in close to mitigate all the phaser arrays it can do some damage. But in this case all of the Defiant's advantages were negated by the long stand-off distance. I am sure you could beat the Sovereign commanding the Defiant, but they AI should not have lasted that long.

I love the Defiant, it's such a sweet hero ship, so good seeing it zoom around and out maneuver larger ships. However I think this is very unrealistic. Unless the Defiant caught the E with a first strike while shields are down I think the E would slap it. I imagine it going down the same as when the other Defiant class charged the Jhem Hadar battleship and just got slapped. The E is just far too large, powerful and fast to fall prey to the Defiant's advantages.

That ending was so funny. You rammed to the Defiant but the secondary hull exploded. Doesn't make any sense! 🤣I think commander Larsen reported this incident to admiral Liu because the Defiant was her most favourite ship in the fleet and she didn't want to be destroyed. Or... She had crush on captain Sisko. Who knows? 😂

real talk, the Defiant COULD NOT take that kind of a beating. Clearly the modder made it's shields and hull WAY tougher than they should be to make up for the fact that plot armor isn't modeled in Bridge Commander

Actual Defiant only have 768gw w/ regenerative shielding or 1,536gw without one; while Sovereign have 6,300gw w/ regenerative shielding, soo yeah, couldn't agree more.

The Defiant has the maneuverability and a low profile, the sovereign would be restricted to its phaser and unfortunately the Defiant pulse phaser pack a harder punch combined with it being able to more easily hit the sovereign with its torpedoes

Talk about your tough little ship lol I was thinking retro. The defiant has a warp core that can power a galaxy class. If yiu think about it. It should have all kinds of extra power. And I was thinking about the time they dumped the phaser power into the structural integrity so they could hot warp 9.5. Couldn't they just steal some warp power into structural to get a little faster...a literal happy medium 😅😅🤪🖖🖖

The fact that the Sovereign class had to fight so hard for this victory shows that the Defiant is far more powerful than it should be. There is also the fact you missed so many shots because you either didn't realize or were unwilling to boost power to your sensors. Boosting power to sensors ensures a more favorable hit to miss ratio. At least from my observations. Hell even your War Galaxy should have won the fight it had with this Defiant. But as I said its vastly overpowered than what the Defiant should be. It needs to be toned down...just a bit.

Yer that defiant needs a respect it’s armor & shields are too strong but the rest is a good match up I’m assuming when you increase power to phasers that’s making your quantum’s twin shot & not quad or dose this need fixing ?

I wish I could put my Uss defiant class a/b it is bigger than the scimitar it carrying ventral and lateral torpedoes launches plus phasers plus forward and aft cannons plus quantum torpedoes forward and aft It's a beast top warp 1.99.8 and can go faster with the ad of our new on board computer just think about it how powerful that is but it is on my board so I have no way to put it out there
