Yeah.... that lower radar face, under the bridge looking forward, is incorrect. I got to see if it is in the instructions are incorrect or if you might have placed it incorrectly. I KNOW you'll get it correct!!! そうです...橋の下で前方を向いているレーダーの下部の面は間違っています。 説明書に記載されている内容が間違っているのか、それとも間違って配置したのかを確認する必要があります. あなたならきっと正解できると思います!

Great work on the carrier, I just built a hobby boss 1/700 scale Essex LHD ship, it is another great model. The trickiest part of the kit is installing the photo etched guard rails around the perimeter of the ship. The kit has Harrier jets so I ordered some 1/700 F-35s to update the kit.

Beautiful work! I love the additions you made with the railings. Your painting is wonderful. Unfortunately, the Island structure (bridge) was build wrong. The forward phased radar is upside down. It should slope in the other direction with the “flared” part lower. Like a nose.

I guess I enjoyed Naval history of war ships too much. The new ship models doesn’t interest me that much but I still am interesting in your technical skill. Enjoy learning your approach in building and developing the look past war ships. My goal is to build a small museum for myself so I can appreciate the famous war ship in history and what makes them so famous. Being in the US Navy I also enjoy building naval aircraft. Currently I am working on a 1/72 U-Boat VllC it is going to be fun since I have not build Models in over sixty years.😱🫣 I appreciated you sharing your years of knowledge and skill on building models ship. Thank you.🙏🙏🙏

Need to come to Germany. Years ago a team from North-Western Germany built (or at least started to build) a Nimitz in 1/72 including all 90 aircraft. They planned to build it in segments. They travelled to various model shows to display the finished segments It's been about five years they displayed the half-finished model (stern to bridge), was quite impressive. Then Covid hit and nobody knows if the whole thing was completed. If so the model would be over 4.6 meters or over 15 feet long and require one well-padded truck to transport.

Honestly, if I were to get my hands on this model, I would go with CVN-79 USS John F. Kennedy(my dad served aboard CV-67 USS John F. Kennedy back from 1992 to 1993 while he was in the Navy.) And how I will display mine is that I’ll have it on the display with the Motto: “Date Nolite Rogare” (Latin for “Give, Do not ask”) cf which is referring to the part of President John F. Kennedy’s speech. “Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.”

Hi. I have a easy tip for u if u interest. Just use mecanical pencil with thin lead for window paintings. I use this method on my models. Window painting is headache at the low scale models. This is an easy solution and looks nice to me on my works. I hope u read this trick and give a try. Good work btw.

Does anyone, ANYONE else, find it just a 'tad' unnerving, that the 'CHINESE', the freaking CHINESE, have produced a somewhat extremely detailed plastic model kit, of what is supposed to be the most advanced U.S. Navy aircraft carrier to date? Is security at Newport News, you know, the U.S. Navy shipyard, where the ship was built, really that freaking LAX?
@mosst30326 ай бұрын
its so easy to get dimensions from publicly released imagery by the navy itself, the outer shape of a ship is impossible to classify and trying to do so would serve no practical purpose

I have to admit this really is an ugly carrier. There is Nothing sleek or graceful about it what so ever. And it looks ridiculous with the island sitting so far back... And personally I hate the classes Name. Who wants to serve on a ship named after a drunk and laughingstock seriously.... Carrier's need to go back to having name's of famous military men, battle's, and historical places. Proud name's like Yorktown, Ticonderoga, Valley Forge, Independence, Intrepid, Midway, Coral Sea, etc. instead of being named after presidents, especially one that is more known for being a Drunk, and laughingstock.
@Gridlocked6 ай бұрын
Many presidents have served within the military in some capacity. Take John F. Kennedy for example, he served as a naval combat officer in the South Pacific campaign during WW2, CVN-79 will be named after Lt. JFK. Not only that but the next Enterprise will be among the Ford class carriers, CVN-80, and then there’s the CVN-81, which will be named after PO3 Doris Miller.

I don’t build ships I am more into Aircraft and Si-Fi, but I enjoyed watching this build, especially when the builder has far more talent than myself, one thing I thought was a really good idea was the small pegs (clothes pins) with the sprue letters on them, when kits don’t have sprue lettering or they are hard to find/see,finding just part number it is hard to find, a very handy way to identify the correct sprue for the part number indicated in the instructions, so thanks for that excellent tip.

A SUPER Build!!! I have ALWAYS been impressed with your builds, and HOW ( if possible ) to improve these kit(s). It is too bad not having railings for this kit...maybe they will a bit later... As far as the the rest of the build.... why not keep the hanger doors open, especially with the a COMPLETE hanger deck, WITH an Overhang?? And nice touch with the 'Golden Anchors' ( 32:20 ) that is for the "Retention Excellence Award" for retaining a Good Majority of sailors for re-enlistments! And Thank YOU.... for showing the different color(s) of those radars!!! I always felt that those radar faces AN/SPY-4 and AN/SPY-3 were painted differently...thanks for listing that paint color!!!👍👍👍 OVERALL..... A SUPER build ( darn railings ), with the a-c and colorful FD!! Thanks for showing Your Work!! Maybe you should build another.......to Keep!!🤔 スーパービルド!!!

I've not tried this but for the windows, why not paint masking tape black and then cut to fit the indents. Straight edges and if incorrect can be removed and attempt again.
@Ste-_.Ай бұрын
If you’re gonna go to all that trouble it’s just as much effort to gloss black the entire stripe of windows and then mask off where the windows are separated and paint grey.
