This was one of the most beautiful commissioning ceremonies I've seen

Came here after reading the biography written by Michael's dad, called "Defend us in Battle." What a beautiful ceremony and so fitting to do it at the place where Michael became a SEAL -- San Diego!

I know of Michael's great legacy through Jocko Willink and Leif Babin. His life and incredible sacrifice inspire me every day.

Beautiful tribute to a true hero. As a former submariner, I’ve never seen so many sailors run so far and so fast when there wasn’t beer at the end of the run😊

Let this ship be S heroic as the hero that he was named after. And that's for the enemies of this ship you better watch out cuz it's coming for you. This is one awesome ship and one protector of this nation.

I'm really thinking about joining the United States Navy. I think it will be a great learning experience and that it will make me a tougher person and I will learn a lot. I will become a better person. This speech was really good

It can make you a better person, not by joining, but by trying and accepting the challenge.

I strongly recommend at least 1 tour in one of the Forces for every young person. Gives you a sense of duty and responsibility, and you might discover a career!
