Wow what a great job. Coaching was obviously a need and that was the first thing that was addressed. Keeping Mitchell was huge because they have become the best back court in the league. Smith had to go because some of her tweets and actions had me questioning her and what she was about and hsr loyalty to the team. Along with the two other additions this roster looks awesome. At no time were fans confused. We live in the real world. There's zero way Nalyssa was staying after her abysmal game against her girlfriends team. While the rest of the team is sprinting for fast breaks and defense. Nalyssa was jogging. She may have clashed with Sides as a coach but so did Clark, Hull, Boston and most of the team. The difference was everyone else still worked hard, played hard, and respected their teammates. Not one of them were stupid or immature enough to make fun of someone else's injury, or headhunting by other teams. Nobody flagrantly fouled Smith for a quarter of the leagues total fouls like they did Clark.

Kelsey Mitchell is a beautiful person. she could have used any excuse in the book to leave Indiana but instead chose to stay & share the spotlight of HER team with an even bigger star & cultural phenomenon. she is humble & IMO the most talented scorer on that team. Clark got the flashy moves but Mitchell is a bucket. also a huge fan of Aliyah Boston. shes nowhere near her prime & will only get better. throw in Natasha Howard & Sophie Cunningham along with Lexie Hull & the team is super deep on both sides of the ball & much more versatile in nearly every way. NaLyssa Smith isnt a bad player but she was inconsistent & awkward having DiJonai Carrington’s boo thang on a team with Caitlin Clark. not upset to see her go if it means seeing more of Sophie Cunningham.

Yes at times, but not always. At Iowa, if she was getting pressed she would concentrate on assisting her teammates. If someone was hot, she would feed the hot hand! But if/when teams back off to cover her teammates because they are all scoring, it will open up the floor for Caitlin. She'll bring the ball up across half court looking the floor over. She'll just pull up and shoot it. It's a beautiful thing! Undefendable! That's what will happen if your teammates are scoring consistently and the other team has to honor that!

The Fever are making decent moves, but they are one biggie short. Are they keeping an aging Dantis and what about Wheeler? Grace Berger definately needs to get more time on court and she needs to up her game as well. At times Grace seems a little hesitant. I really liked that she took the last shot of of Indy's last game. Too bad it didn't go in, that would have been a happy moment for everyone. She is gonna get more confidence once the team gels and Caitlin gets more rest on the bench. The bench really needs to step up this year. The Hull/Cunningham battle will be interesting. I am also encouraged by Boston's offseason workouts.

Mitchell Is a weak defensive Player, The Kelsey the Fever should have Gotten was Kelsey Plum, a proven Champion and Pressure Player...Mitchell is not a pressure shooter....When It counted, Mitchell, in the last 2 minutes, in the second game against the Sun, She missed her last 3 shots when it mattered.. after Clark had Tied the Game....Those misses cost the fever the game.....

Berger will likely now be the main backup to CC (I doubt they'll re-sign Erika Wheeler). KLS will likely share minutes at the 3 or 4. Second unit likely would be Dantas, KLS, Lexie or Sophie (not sure who will start yet), Grace and probably another person they'll pick up

2 things: when am I going to see a competently set pick in the WNBA? What will CC do if/when the refs start calling travelling fouls? I quit watching the NBA when I saw MJ take 4 steps in a playoff game and not get a travelling call.

Could be that traveling has a looser definition than 60-some years ago, when I was an 8th grade basketball hero. I'm ok with the change, which seems to apply to a great many players.
