@@donviajero2580 I thought he was actually MOTM, yeah he missed the penalty and he lost the ball many times, but his movement with the ball, he seemed to have a 1 v 1 ability and his goal was superb. Pretty much individual effort.

As the more international players come to MLS, the level of homegrown talent will have to rise. I just wish they would raise the salary cap or more club autonomy in terms of player moves. I know MLS is trying to protect parity but they will eventually have to take the training wheels off some time.

No 11 failed the PK because he is not a natural-born soccer player. He did everything wrong. He took the PK from the midfielder, which is defiance and rebellion. His failure also reveals that he did not practice PK shots with his coach and assistance during training. No 11 should have watched how a PK is executed by watching Dunga in the final during the 1994 final against Italy. At the same time, you can see how to not execute, as Roberto Baggio failed to score the PK. No 11 thinks soccer is football or rugby or some other sport, he is very mistaken. He is a liability to the USA team. He should be separated from the team immediately because he is potentially the reason the USA could miss the next round in 2026.
