Thank you!! :) I slowly started to realize you might have given me a shout-out. "WW2HH sent me" :) Strange find (the badge) if you are one your home area, which it looks like. Maybe a German soldier brought it from the Eastern Front? Looks like a cap badge.

At 15:25 is a Soviet cap badge. If I am not mistaken, a star only is just standard Soviet. With hammer & sickle indicates a party membership badge. Very cool.

@ebinecksdee98728 жыл бұрын
WW2HistoryHunter the hero 5 isn't all that bad. The picture quality on those is pretty solid. And if the fish eye effect is the reason why you're opposed to gopros, they have editing software made by gopro to remove that. If you still don't want a gopro, I can't force you. You do what you're comfortable with.
@rcairnut8 жыл бұрын
I agree on the Gopro, I would look at a TomTom Bandit, less of the fisheye effect of the GoPro. Also another great adventure thank you for bringing us along.

Seeing that tent peg has me wanting to ask, have you ever spent the night at any of these locations? Wow, that badge was really down in the ground. It’s in wonderful condition. All your digs always seem to bring something up. Seeing that knife, do you think the Swiss Army was there lol. The piece used to roll barb wire on may seem insignificant but how many people have seen one. I haven’t. Love seeing something new in your videos.

Wish you all luck 2017 and looking forward to all the episodes :)

@Nordvind788 жыл бұрын
Working with Tig atm welding aluminium,but worked with gas and arc welding when i was working in district heating..Welding in aluminium is like welding in butter..It melts in seconds :) Many welding thechniques was formed under WWII "A number of welding technologies were developed in the 1940s. In 1942, V. H. Pavlecka, and Russ Meredith of Northrop Aircraft Inc. designed gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) to weld magnesium and stainless steel. GTAW was used during WWII to weld fighter planes. Later, it was applied to stainless steel and aluminum." this is the source: weldingdesign.com/archive/welding-and-wwii ..WWII have many interesting parts.
