That team led by Dasayev used to practice in my school football ground at Willingdon island because they were staying at the nearby Malabar Hotel, and we were watching at the sidelines hoping to get an autograph from the USSR players. Nostalgia for the days gone by.

@@abhishekkariyaden2403 They did a referendum on whether they wanted the Soviet Union to separate or not. More than 75% voted that they wanted to still be part if the USSR. But the last Soviet president did not care about the people, so he wanted to modernize the country and to Westernize it, but it failed, that is, the Soviet Union collapsed.
