Nice to hear ustadji after a long time. yes this is composed by Ustad Amanali khan of Bhendibazaar gharana. you can also hear the same composition ( Raag Shahana kanda )by another star maestro of the Bhendi bazaar gharana, Pandit Shivkumar Shukla on SANIDH channel, these are very rare compositions. thanks.

in india, 78's were made through the late 60'sat least (they ceased production in the US in 1958). I'm not speculating on when this was made, just setting the record straight.

agreed-- i should have clarified i was referring to CLASSICAL music 78's, not popular music. in the latter genre they were indeed made until the 60s.

78's were produced down to the 50's. EP's followed in the late 50s and 60s.
