So sweet voice and mastery in rendition of Darbari. Absolutely amazing!!
@Milahi193512 жыл бұрын
Also heard that Akbar was so fond of listening to Darbari, that he would have it sung every night before sleeping. Sarahang has done an excellent rendition of this great raag. The only thing missing is that Sarhang did not go above three octaves in range, as done by Nusrat (raag darbari, alaap) and Rafi(in o dunya key rakhwaley)

A very nice take on Raag Darbari Kanada, featuring the traditional cheez 'Yaar-e-man beya.' Brings out the essence of Darbari whilst singing in the mandra saptak (lower register).

@crazyfud I agree that Amir Khusrow was the one who introduced tarana and he is ther writer of this poem. But this composition is made by Ustad Amir khan sahib. I am pretty sure...
@BhuvaneshB14 жыл бұрын
@classicpower7 It is from a ghazal by Khusro called 'Khabaram raseeda imshab'. In his taranas, Amir Khan used the Farsi poems of several poets such as Khusro, Hafiz, and Jami.
@hogishim.13 жыл бұрын
As far as i know ,Amir Khushro gave birth to the Tarana style of singing & particularly this Tarana was the composition of Ustad Amir Khan(as i have come across a recording in which Ustad ji mention's the very same).This composition has Persian words included.The words are as under :- Yaar-E-Mann Beya Beya Der Re Na Dhoom Ta Na Na Dhoom Der Re Na Balabam Raseeda Jaanam Tu Beya Ke Zinda Maanam Pas Azaan Ke Mann Na Maanam Bacha Kaar Khwahi Aamad The above video is a wonderful rendition! :)

The tarana is an unique form of Persian and Urdu poetry not actually not a poem, introduce in Classical music by Hazrat Ameer Khusru, regarding the composition varios singers had their own composition thus Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, Ustad Ameer Khan and Ustad Salamat Ali Khan and Ustad Nazakat Ali Khan etc. etc. This an unique composition of Ustad Sarang With inclsion of some PISTHU couplets. Thanks for uploading.
@abdullahazim9913 Жыл бұрын
just a small correction, no Pashto couplets is used, its all Dari/Farsi.

@theresaadmirer Amir Khusrow was the It was inventer of Tarana. Tarana means song and is similar to the Qalbana form of Sufi poetry. they use the persian and arabic poetry and also the tabla bhols in tarana. BUt this one ´yare man bya bya´ was not composed by Amir Khusrow. this one was composed by ustad Amir khan. an indian classical legend.

@crazyfud14 жыл бұрын
For you who are questioning who made this, it is Ameer Khusrow. Ameer Khusrow introduced tarana style in India. Ustad Amir Khan is the first one to try it in public. This is a very old, old composition. You can't say that it Ustad Amir Khan composed it. That is unfair to Ameer Khusrow. I have to admit, Ustad Amir Khan was an amazing talent that can never be immitated.

sorry for my poor English I did my best :-) Whatever you hear on there is love's voice(Bedil - Sufi poet) Come my beloved, came ... .. came To hide you so deeply in the majestic tones that I only from the lofty tone's can call you from your throne Come my beloved, came ... .. came I would die in your absence, then came in while I am in life, came to keep me alive Come my beloved, came ... .. came

Actually Patiala gharana is a much later entry into the whole hindustani classical singing, in fact the whole khayal gayaki was almost non-existent in early mughals, so to claim Patiala gharana existed and gave legitimacy to Darbari is a stretching the facts a bit isn't it :)
