I can understand why the rent is so high. This is by far the best apartment you have shown yet. It has so much storage and a great living space -not cramped including a balcony.

I’ve been watching a lot of your videos lately. This is the first apartment I’ve seen you feature on your channel where I thought, “A married couple could probably live there.” The main room has enough space for a double bed, there’s enough clothing storage space for two people, and the kitchen could easily accommodate cooking two-person meals. The rent also becomes a lot more affordable with two incomes. If you were a minimalist couple who liked to spend lots of time out and about, this would be a very nice place to live!

Das Appartement ist wirklich schön. Sehr viel Platz und schön geschnitten. Auch wenn die Miete hoch ist, für dieses Appartement ist es aber gerechtfertigt, finde ich😊 Und Spiderman hätte bestimmt seine Freude hoch oben auf dem Balkon😁👍

I like this apartment and all of the storage space. The kitchenette is great. It just needs an area where food can be easily and safely prepared. I'd have to have a cart with wheels that could be rolled into the kitchen and back out of the way when I needed a surface to cut and prepare food. I'd install a medium sized refrigerator and put shelving on top to hold a microwave and toaster oven so I could bake. I'd have as many herbs as possible on the balcony.

I like the layout of each of the spaces in the apartment. Plus, you can go out onto the balcony to get some fresh air if the weather is nice.

This is a close to perfect apartment, with lots of storage. It certainly has the best kitchen I have seen. And the view from the balcony is really nice, with no powerlines spoiling it. Having said that, the rent was a bit of a shock. But you get what you pay for. Thanks for bringing us along, Usui-san.

This is a very nice place. Laid out thoughtfully, plenty of storage, places for fridge and laundry. Seperate toilet room and the bathroom even has a tub. There is plenty of room for a bed and a table, desk and chair. The balcony is nice with space for plants, drying clothes and sitting outside. It's lovely. The rent is like rents everywhere; Too High!! If I was making good money I might consider living there.

This one is very livable! Amazing what a difference that extra 5 sqm makes for storage, furniture placement, etc. Though it's reflected in the price, haha. Love that Usui-san is confused by all the storage, like "what do people put here other than toilet paper???" 🤔

Hello. Today is also the first time I watched your channel. Although I always dream and like large houses, I also like minimalism, I like Japan and I like the way you represent Japan when showing minimalism, elegance, wit, etc. when watching I find your channel very comfortable and peaceful. I even open it to work even though I can't see it directly but hear the sound very pleasant. I'm dissatisfied with my place, but after watching your videos I see that my problems probably have a solution, I shouldn't complicate it just because I don't have a big house. I found a lot of encouragement and joy when watching your videos, and it made me have a different perspective on even though it's a small space, look at the solution and its benefits. diese wohnung ist sehr nett, sie ist definitiv unter meinen top 5! 🙂 als frau kann man nie genug stauraum haben, das ist hier sehr gut gelöst. besonders gefallen mir hier die schubladen in der küche und unter dem kleiderschrank. der balkon ist klein, aber fein. rechts könnte man mit einer überbauung der klimaanlage für etwas grün sorgen, einen bequemen stuhl und einen klapptisch, den man am balkongitter befestigen kann. bei der einrichtung schwanke ich immer sehr zwischen einem bett, welches tagsüber auch als sofa genutzt werden kann oder einem schrankbett, welches tagsüber ein sofa ist und nachts das bett runtergeklappt wird. beides könnte passen. auf jeden fall wieder vielen dank, dass du uns in die welt der kleinen wohnungen mitnimmst!

High rent but amazing apartment. I'm not joking when I say it had more storage than our 2 bedroom flat!!!! We had to build kitchen cupboards and install wardrobes and clothes rails. It's insane!!!!!!! Honestly, the 2 of us would be better there for that! The balcony is a adorable! Absolutely adore this one!!!!!❤

Add in the stairs and loft from the last one to this and you have the perfect apartment! But this one is really great on its own. Love the balcony! It seemed so calm and peaceful in that neighborhood that day.

Finally an apartment that has some logic in the distribution of space😂. Since I only use two pairs of shoes the shoe closet would be where i would store kitchen utensils and food. A small fridge would extend the countertop. Since i do not use the bathtub its ideal for storing all clothes in one of this temu plastic closet things that are adorable🎉 of course with bathcurtain to protect it from splashes from the shower. The BIG ROOM the bigger part of the closet would be my desk /office area. The other part for hanging jackets. I would have a round table for two on the opposite corner and a sofa/bed facing the window and the balcony where i would hang some greenary. The tv would be projected on a roll up curtain.

Very nicely designed and spacious. This is more like a small apartment than a micro. A bit expensive but if one can afford it, this one hits all of the buttons.

Elevator to get to the apartment, nice. 277 sq ft, nice. Shoe cabinet could also be a pantry, nice. 2-burner stovetop, big sink, storage over the sink and under the sink, nice. Room for a refrigerator, nice. Toilet paper storage! Always nice! Place for a washing machine, sink in the bathroom, more storage, decent sized shower, all nice. Can get a bed and a table in the main living area, nice. Closet, always nice to have Balcony's just big enough to put a chair on to sit outside on pretty days. (Don't look down, Usui!) Rent's way too high. Not nice. :( Other than the rent, this place gets a gold star! I love it.

Kolejne mieszkanie które zachwyca. Wygodny rozkład pomieszczeń, możliwość odzielenia kuchni od sypialni, ustawna sypialnia, w której mieści się nie tylko łóżko, balkon - za to wszystko daję duże plusy. Najbardziej podobają mi się wszystkie miejsca do przechowywania. Minusem jest wysokie piętro, ale widok z okna to wynagradza. Mogłabym tam mieszkać ❤

This is a spacious and beautiful apartment. I like the combination of wood look with painted cream walls, wood floors and the modern and glossy kitchen cabinets. It's amazing all the living space it gives without lack of storage. The amazing balcony views that over look a tennis court and beautiful neighborhood. It seems to have the best of everything nearby plus a station. I guess that is the reason for the cost of rent being higher? Being on the 7th floor isn't my cup of tea but, there is probably plenty of well paid people who don't mind the higher elevation living or rent. If it's in a person's budget it's definitely a good find!

I like this apartment. There is a lot of storage space. You could have a loft bed to maximize the space. I would use the patio for reading and enjoying tea or coffee and I would have plants. This is a very nice place.

I really like this one. The layout makes sense and it has everything i would like to haveand no loft😊 The balcony is perfect for growing vegetables and for enjoying the sunset. I would definitely grow strawberries also because i like to use them for baking muffins. This is a 10 out of 10 for me. Thank you for showing it to us. Stay healthy, happy and safe always.

I gasped out loud (and woke my dog) when I saw all that storage above the toilet! I'd invest in a Murphy Bed for this apartment to make the most of that great living room.

Thy don’t have many Murphy beds in Japan. But I do understand the temptation to go there! It seems like a lovely apartment, though a tad pricey.

Maybe not a Murphy bed since those have to be firmly attached to a wall (I doubt that would be allowed in a rental apartment) but a loft bed, definitely. Maybe because I grew up in Hawaii, whose land area is small like Japan, but my first thought is to always expand upward.

Love the entry way. So much storage, cozy kitchen, space for a full fridge plus prep counter besides. Basic toilet closet plus bidet 🎉. Shower room has additional storage and space for washing machine. Love to see it. Bathroom dryer 🎉! Living room is missing a loft, but decent space and good storage. Let's just do... bed, loveseat, projection TV. Love the balcony. Maybe a little chair and table on balcony. Cozy blackout curtains on the sliding door. Yeah, nice.

oh yeah, this is my jam. finally, a decently organized small apartment. even if the kitchen is small it at least has a lot of storage space; all the apartment has a lot of storage space and that is to thank for. this place is livable, in all senses. The whole place is so nice and has so much potential. I wish many of the other apartments were built with this much common sense because honestly, we've seen so many things in this channel...

Good evening, dear Usui-san. A fantastic apartment and again on the 7th floor. The apartment's facilities are perfect, nothing is left to be desired. Your idea for the furnishings is also perfect, you've thought of everything. The rent is reasonable given the location. Only a few minutes to Akiba and the parks on the Sumida River, where you have a wonderful view of the Skytree. 😊🎉❤

this feels more like a home. the finishing on everything seems very fine. the layout is very thoughtful-a place for everything, everything in its place, you can relax. the balcony is perfect for plants and reading. it's all worth the higher rent to me. i think i could live there for years!

I am well aware of where folks store their shoes - but where do they put their coats? In the chillier parts of the U.S., we sometimes have a place for shoes near the door - but we always have a place for coats! Often, it's an entire closet. This seems like a great apartment. There's ample storage. The living space is similar in size to a dorm room that I had in college, although my kitchen and bathroom were shared space. The bathroom was right outside my door, but the kitchen was down the hall. I also didn't have a balcony, just a window. I set my space up with a lofted bed. Underneath the bed, I had a cozy "study," blocked off by a bookshelf. The study held a dresser and a desk. Up top, the bookshelf became a nightstand. Past the bed, I placed a futon style sofa. My TV stand was across from that. I had a trunk in the middle to serve as a coffee table and as extra storage and a guest chair. Honestly, I loved that little room. I would happily live that way again, although I'd need a loft bed with stairs instead of a ladder.

Very good looking apartment. I would have window boxes on the balcony to grow vegetables, with a reading chair with a coffee shelf for breakfast. One furniture suggestion: put the TV on its stand across the foot of the bed to use up that odd space.

Wow! In the US a studio like this size, with less walkable nearby conveniences and little public transportation (average US experience), would be $1200 on average (in my experience). Great find!

I love this apartment. I like that there is a door between the kitchen and living room. The living room layout is sensible, no weird angles. There are already plenty of storage built in, so I can place other furniture instead. The balcony is a bonus.

Extraordinary design, storage, light, & even a small balcony for fresh air and sunlight. This is perhaps one of the most well designed apartments I've seen out of my years living in Manhattan, London and Paris. This isn't just an apartment to exist in, you can actually live in this apartment reasonably comfortably if you're still working or going to university full time. Perfect for a pied-a-terre if you own a home in the countryside, but work in Tokyo during the week.

so expensive! great storage, especially in the kitchen. i don't how how to feel about the newest kind of air conditioner. sometimes u just want direct air... and i imagine maintenance means u need to keep the area below it clear. cool door handle outside the unit!

This apartment is perfect; it is literally my ideal apartment. Having lots of storage space is important to keep things tidy. Plus the tiny balcony is a bonus; i can see having meals there on nice weather days

This is one of the places you've toured. There's so much storage space that it almost seems like too much. A Murphy Bed that turns into a desk when not in use would be ideal for the living room. Wish these were thought of in the States too...

È proprio un bell' appartamento. Ben rifinito, ottimo il parquet e con tanti scaffali ed armadi. Sul balconcino metterei un piccolo tavolino con una sedia per prendere il caffè o mangiare al sole . E poi tante tante piccole piante piene di fiori!

Usui! this is great....it has plenty of storage for toilet paper!!😂😂😊 a medium size fridge is enough and then on top a micro -oven + small rice cooker will do the job. The genkan is very elegant with plenty of space for other stuff too. This is a winner, if you dont have much stuff, you can live with plenty of space. A sofa bed, a sliding multipurpose desk will do the job. The balcony and the view to the tennis court is top!

Good simple micro apartment. Everything properly separated, aka, kitchenette, toilet, bathroom and living/bedroom. Decent balcony for a small table and chair to enjoy the view and some fresh air. The only thing i hate about this apartment and i don't know if anyone would agree, is the wooden flooring that makes everything a bit gloomy 😅. The rent is too high though considering the other really good ones you've visited.

I really really like this flat. The rent is pricey for such a small space (bigger against micro flat standards). It is still compact. It has a lot of plus points. The biggest downside: it is in the 7th floor. For earthquake city, not my cup of tea. Thank you for sharing 🙏 Until our next video 🎥🍀

Hello Usui. I haven't watched all your videos yet, but among the videos I've watched, I liked this one the most. It is very useful in every aspect and the tenant's needs are very well considered. I would buy a sofa that could be a bed instead of a bed. I would put the pillows and comforter in the upper part of the large closet. I would add shelves to other parts and place my clothes. Better yet, I'd get a bunk bed with a bed on the top level and a couch on the bottom level. In this way, I would avoid having to open and close the bed every evening and every morning. I would sit on the couch while watching TV. I will use the table as a dining table. I would add a portable coffee table in front of the couch for the computer. I would put a bookshelf on the left side of the couch, at the head of the bed. I think it will be great.

Another nice place with a good layout. Nice storage as well. Small table and chair on the balcony, and maybe a small planter box for some herbs or veggies. Definitely one of the higher rents, but that is probably due to location. This is a great small apartment!

I lived in a 500² ft apartment 10 years ago. Sounds relatively spacious, considering the apartments we see here, but much of the footage was due to a narrow hallway, and a very large bathroom. I lived quite well there, even though my only furniture was a bed, chair, and a small table that was my nightstand and printer stand. What lovely memories! When my now husband and i moved into an apartment, our kitchen was larger than my previous place!
