She lowered her expectations to not get hurt as much. When he proposed, I think her biggest emotion was relief, at first.

Sometimes I feel like people love this couple because they have a great life not realising it is privilege not personality. The lack of stress of having great family (comparative huge lack of stress) the circumstances shape everything. This is not negative to them. It just makes me sad people can't see about hardships and trauma and poverty being real factors behind how interactions occur.

I love them as a couple because they're the ideal version of what I want to be and because they are both so positive. Is it unlikely to happen for most people? Of course. But they are a very healthy couple and that's why they are my favourite. But I totally agree that privilege has a HUGE impact on the strength of a relationship; mine is crumbling because I didn't want to live in a cockroach-infested apartment anymore and moved back in with my parents and now we're just growing distant. I know that if we had a house of our own with money for regular food, exercise access and a car, 95% of the problems we currently have would vanish. It's easy for couples who have wealth to say their relationship is great but I think the true test is making it work without all those things.

For me "healthy" is how strong you are able to reflect on how other people feel and act to help with whatever personal gifts you find inside. I don't see them as people who particularly dig deep to do not for themself so meh on that. I believe Sean would. Really dig deep and give if he reflected. Catharine seems nice too don't get me wrong. I just wish we looked up to the most generous and soulful couples who are strong in their selflessness and seasoned in their experiences and looked away from greed rather than looked away from suffering and it is typical to instead be drawn to bubbly smiling folks (whoever; this is not a dig *on them* they seem nice and all) who may never dig deep. Would I like to go to a family party with them? Sure! Pleasant bubbly people are always fun. But not what makes the world healthier so wtvr. I get this sort of missed potential feeling with them. Like they'll never know what it is really like for others and them miss the mark of what contribution all of their smiles and personal/spiritual resources could be used for. A lot of times doggoders harm out of ignorance and feign ignorance when it is too late. I hope they really try and learn and enrich the world with whatever humans offer to it. I hope Sean is the leader in that family.

@@skyblue32160 the questions were directed to Catherine so of course she'll be talking more than Sean. Saying that that was typical of Filipina is stereotyping.
