PERFECT advice from Catherine! That is the entire reason my marriage fell apart. My ex later admitted flat out that he pretended to be the person he knew I wanted. And then when we were married, I was constantly being disappointed that he was a different person, and he was constantly frustrated/disappointed that he wasn't that person. We were both miserable! If you're just honest about who you are, you don't have to put on a show the rest of your life.

Many people watching the series assumed that just because the new bachelor Sean Lowe was a Christian, that it would have been boring. But he is one of the most respected, well received person on there. He found and married a lovely Christian lady. God bless them and their ministry.

I really disagree with all these comments saying that the video is out of place on a Christian channel. Just because they're not spewing Bible quotes every two sentences or specifically saying 'God' doesn't mean it isn't valuable information or advice for Christians. Way to be out of touch. I think one of the BIGGEST mistakes women make while on the bachelor is they ALL think “I am the BEST ONE FOR HIM!!!” They go into it with all these preconceived notions and when it doesn’t work out they are devastated. I have to say though, I did not see that in Catherine. She went into it liking him, and allowing their love/relationship to grow, not really expecting much from it, instead of pushing it on him as so many of them do. Kudos to you both and God bless you and your family!!! 💕

I totally agree. I saw that their love kept getting stronger and she was very different than the other women. She never asked for anything. She was herself on the show. The other women were trying too hard and were there to win and not think beyond (after the show was over), the way Catherine did! Wished I watched their season and am glad I can see some videos of the season...I do have the book, and it is a very good one to read! Sean and Catherine totally rock!

I haven't dated in 5 years. I'm back in a small community and I been really focusing on me. Well, I found me, very happy to say!! The love of my life died in 2010 and I been single since. Great video & i believe your points are very right. It is better to date the people who you can see yourself marrying in future. And possibly starting a family & raising children. Otherwise the dating part would be of no substance, and as you stated it is wasting time. The relationship will fair better as well, as you both have a better joint understanding and are looking for the same things.

Hey Jeff, What do You think about Healing/T.V. Evangelism/Evangelist (Benny Hinn, Reinhard Bonnke, ect.)? I recently went to a Gospel Crusade and they were healing people. I think. Maybe they were actors or something. Idk. I absolutely believe that Christ can and will heal people but when HE wants to, not when people command it. I need some help because this has been really haunting me ever since the Gospel Crusade. Honestly, I feel trapped in this cycle of question like, what if it is really Jesus healing and i'm just discrediting him? Please help.

Pray and ask for discernment which God so generously gives by the Spirit. the Gospel is the foremost thing that should be at the head for healing at all times. Dylan Guidry You've gotten some good answers so far, but I thought I would add a bit more with a scripture to back it up. In Matthew 10:8, Jesus commands His disciples saying "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give." Notice that He didn't tell them to pray that sick people will be healed -- He commanded them to heal sick people. Then in Matthew 28:19-20 He told His followers "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations...teaching them to observe all that I commanded you". That means that His command to heal the sick was not just for His original disciples, but for us too! Be encouraged, and have a blessed day!

Is this still a Christian channel at all? The advice is great and everything but the audience of this channel subscribed because of its real and honest Christian content, no? I do think that relationships are a worthwhile topic to discuss, but it's hard to take these 'tips' seriously... Not once do they mention God, His will for your relationships or anything related to the Bible. The guy actually says that it's okay for someone to just kindof date without intention for a while in your life and then start getting your act together when you feel like you want something serious? That's just completely unbiblical. It's like this channel has become a marketing outlet for books, T-shirts etc. and very little else. Really considering unsubscribing because the channel simply isn't what made it such a blessing in my life anymore.

He didn't say "it's okay to kind of date and then start getting your act together for something serious." What he said was pretty vague; he could have been referring to a younger person or youth. Not just that, what he said about setting someone up for heartbreak proves that he didn't mean or say that "kind of dating" was okay.

rfawn fair point, his second statement did prove he is not for that kind of dating. On that count I'm off, but the whole feel of these last few video isn't Godly to me. I think it would have been received better by myself and others if this kind of video is separated from the rest, in a series or even on another channel, with a introduction stating the intention of the videos. My main gripe is not that the video is on relationship advice, it's that it seems like a marketing scheme for the guys book.

Hi, I just happened to watch the Lowe's and the Mesnick's on Celebrity Wife Swap. This is just "my " opinion but, I noticed that Sean seemed to be a bit arrogant, in regards to proclaiming his needs. I don't recall him saying anything about Catherine's needs, or what "she wants ", it was like we were back in the 40s & 50s when the man seemed to, hmm,how to say this tactfully, dictated the wife and home. I know the Bible well Sean, & I mean no disrespect by my comments. I do know that we're supposed to honor our Mother & Father, also Cherish our perspective spouses also. I just was a little taken back with 1 comment on the show, "This is how we do things in our house ". Which consisted only of you speaking of what "you " expect to be done when you get home. I did notice Molly M had a great point. What about what Catherine wants? Lastly, I just watched the first 3 videos of you and Catherine on the subjects of Dating tips etc. I was a little, no I'll be honest, a lot taken back to hear you refer to your Father, who is a minister no less, as "Your old man"! I was raised by old fashioned parents, a very devout Christian Mother. If I Ever had used the term "my old man or my old lady ",in reference to either of my parents, I'd probably still be drinking out of a straw to this day!! Lol....I know you probably think I'm being overly judgemental, but I just would like to know, if you're parents and /or Catherine would be offended to how you addressed them, or that you say this is how we do things in our house?
