I don't understand how Columbia #17 wasn't immediately ejected (see 6:25). IFAB DOGSO: "Where a player commits an offence against an opponent within their own penalty area which denies an opponent an obvious goal-scoring opportunity and the referee awards a penalty kick, the offender is cautioned if the offence was an attempt to play the ball; in all other circumstances (e.g. holding, pulling, pushing, no possibility to play the ball etc.) the offending player must be sent off." An elbow in the back ain't "an attempt to play the ball".

If we put up this team against Spain, Sweden, England, Canada, and France, we’ll be in trouble. We might even be in trouble with Germany and Norway, maybe even Netherlands if they don’t have such a bad / slow defense. I hate to say this, but we will not win the World Cup with this team, wont even make the finals.

US women's team shouldn't get equal pay to men's team. They should be paid more. They play the game a lot better than the US men's team. Even their world ranking shows this fact. I am a man and I love watching women's games. Women don't play the sissy game guys play with acting injured to draw a foul. They get hit hard and they keep going.
