Benavides has not proven himself nearly as much as Canelo, and after seeing Canelo beat Munguia, I am feeling better about Canelo's chances against Benavides than I was before. The Canelo/Crawford fight is actually very competitive. They are not all that far apart in size and height actually. Both are top 5 pound for pound at the moment. It's a pick em fight. I can understand a person being critical about Canelo if they want to be, but Paulie is coming across as way too unfairly biased at this point, and that hurts his credibility as an analyst. Chris is the more credible of the two if I had to compare.

Back to cruiserweight is a necessity. Did you see how beat up Usyk was after the fight? Fury lost but it's because he fought the wrong fight. He should have come in in condition and tried to bomb Usyk out of there. This is the weakest crop of heavyweights in a decade plus and although Usyk is winning he's taking good beatings while he's doing it. I can't comment about who wins the rematch because Fury never comes in in good enough condition for 10 rds never mind 12.

Usyk is at P4P elite level and with the kind of losses that Zhang has (even though Hrgovic was dubious but Hrgovic still went the distance) including the Olympics loss to AJ. To me that makes him “very good” but not elite. Just another way of me saying Usyk is a different level even if he’s smaller. He pretty much handled AJ in those 2 fights without much trouble.

Crawford is 36 and can still make 147 which means he is in no way shape or form built to fight anyone at 168 have a day off, not to mention it would be a terrible version of bud as if he’s just gonna put on 21 pounds which is hard enough with out PEDs but you honestly think he’s gonna be as fast or as good with 21 pounds extra weight?
