+kreizdämlicher labbeduddel I still remember when i tried to mod the hell out of the UT2004 Demo, porting the maps and characters from ut2003 demo to the 2004 demo. xD And after many reinstalls and broken games i finally DID IT. And i was only 14 years old back then. I was so happy when i had more characters and maps to play in the 2004demo. :D

They can't any longer. Consider these great games from late 90s to late 2000s a product of unique circumstances and developers experiences. Just compare UT3 to this to see that all the magic is gone, probably to give more space to shiny technology.

I owned a copy of UT 2004. Loved the link-gun. The Unreal Engine editor 2.0 was even more awesome. back then i modified the sticky grenade by changing the texture to a "smilie face" and added the sound-clip "i am going to get you" in a hamster-like voice. It was lots of fun to use ! 😁

PLayed this map 24/7 AGAINST BOT and it was fun as fucking hell man

+Sergio Esteban Fritz Rieloff The bots were pretty bad I would say. They had "deathmatch" skill as high as you set but too low and it was annoyingly easy, and too high and they would shoot you down with unreal precision from far away, but not with vehicles, they were quite bad regarding strategy and vehicles, which is what ONS is mainly about :) It was freakin' fun driving over very skilled DM/TDM/CTF players or crushing them with manta, my god that was fun :D I wasn't really that good in DM so I enjoyed specifically ONS very much. Unfortunatelly the ONS community and UT2004 didnt last long, I remember also playing Frag Ops mode, which was like CS but with UT gun precision and vehicles, very fun too.

when i was younger i enjoyed the hell outta the map against bots, then again, i had the game pirated because of no money at the time and other stuff... so when i started playing the game online a while after i didn't realize how to play with my own country players (chileans) and ended up on 190-400 ping servers...

Sweet Lord still damn good & it makes adrenaline rush in me for survival :P espacially cause i am indian & the Tabla part of music just makes me so pumped :D. THIS MUSIC IS VERY BIG REASON I USED TO PLAY THIS GAME SOO HARD FOR HOURS IN THIS MAP.
